In order to get a card/flowers/gift/etc from my husband, I would have had to have said on Sat. "Hey, V-day is this week, you might want to go get something..." and I'm so not going to do that. (Same applies for Christmas & Birthday...I usually just end up getting myself something, but hey, at least I know I'm going to like it! )

This morning some guy wanted to propose to his girlfriend on the radio.... and she said NO!

Hahahaha. Ok, I know that really sucks for him, but seriously. Why would you ask unless you are CERTAIN she is going to say yes? And I mean like 150% sure!

Maybe he was sure. Just like the girls on Maury Povich are sure who their baby's father is. I mean, it doesn't make sense to you or me, but clearly they're confident.

Because you can never read women, yet they expect you to know exactly what they are thinking all of the time.

Seriously though, burn for him. Sorry to the GC one that was dumped as well.

Woops. Now I AM that stupid person (minus the word boyfriend). My friend Mike sent me flowers. Wow. Completely unexpected. What a sweet friend.

(p.s. Valentine's Day is still stupid. )

Well that's a person who has more money than sense.

I would rather have a box of chocolates over flowers any day!

I've never been big on Valentine's Day and now that I'm with someone, I'm still not excited about it. Plus, Mr. Pi Phi is very sick but he still wants to go out tonight even though I told him that I would go to his place and take care of him.

Today is just like any other day. One shouldn't have to go nuts one day of the year telling the person they're with that they love them. They should do it every day. You don't need to give some flowers or silk boxers to tell them that you love them.
