And yet he gets pissy and accuses me of blowing him off.

Maybe you should step back a second....the guys might not be the sucky ones......

Just a thought of course.

GOD DAMNIT!!

We are one of the top 5 universities in the country in terms of undergrad enrollment and university size.

Yet we cannot field a competitive basketball team, despite having talent-rich Houston practicially in our backyard.

0-16 for the season, and 0-8 in the Big XII tournament since it started in 1996. It's no wonder A&M is considered the siberia of college basketball.

The only good thing about tonight's loss is that Coach Watkins resigned yesterday. Hopefully we can bring in a coach to turn this damn thing around. I'm holding out for Larry Eustachy, but i have a feeling we'll end up with Billy Gillespie from UTEP.

[/end angry A&M basketball fan rant]

I just finished cleaning my family room carpet because:

1) My dog got a case of the poops and
2) My hamster rolled through it in his little rolly ball

I think they planned this just so they could have a laugh at my expense.

I could understand him getting mad if we had definite plans, but all I said was that I'd have to see what I was doing. And he set to let him know because he had tentative other plans as well.

I don't mean to get defensive, but I don't see what I'm doing wrong.

mmcat,

In that case, i hope that when A&M hires a new coach we're both happy

Gillespie's doin an awesome job at UTEP, but i want a coach who has performed in a major conference in here. We went the "up and comer" route with Melvin when he came from UNC Charlotte and it bombed.

I wouldn't be angry if we did get Billy, i just don't think he's the right fit for our program. Despite his publicized departure from ISU, i REALLY want Eustachy.

I was just stating it on a general level.

People are always so quick to blame others but if they took the time to actually step back from the situation they can pinpoint the things that they have done wrong....

We are all guilty...

If you're going to peak your head in my classroom, please don't open your mouth and say something stupid like yelling across the room to me saying "You need to get the kids to sit down" that shows the kids I'm not doing the right thing and YOU have to tell me. Instead try actually coming into the room, TALKING to me and perhaps saying "I can see you're having difficulty getting some students to stay in their seats. Can I help them with their work?" or "Can I help you settle the class down"

If I get her little girl next year in 1st grade Lord help me...

No, I'm not into him at all, for a bunch of reasons, probably the main one being that he is 13 years older (I'm 23) and I'm just not a fan of huge age differences like that--plus, he LOOKS a lot older than me. I know how shallow this sounds, but someone actually asked me if he was my dad once.

Then you are still sending him mixed signals somehow. Men in a completely nonchalant reltionship without sexual tension don't get pissy over the scenario you gave.

I am not breaking your stones, I am being serious. I couldn't give a shit if a girl that I have no chemistry with breaks plans with me the second before i pick her up.

Would you be into him if that numerical age thing wasn't in the way? I mean based on his personality etc? Maybe he picks up on that.

Hmmm......well, perhaps I am sending mixed signals. I've thought a lot about that because of course I don't like to lead people on. Maybe for a while I was. Like last summer, he and I hung out an awful lot, went drinking together, out to dinner, etc, and I let him pay for everything, even though I tried to protest. Then he bought me a really expensive b-day gift (a Tiffany and Co keychain--and I'd only known him like three months at the time). So I cooled it with him and probably have only seen him/hung out with him an average of every three weeks or so since late August.

And we've never done anything physical, so he can't misinterpret that at all.

I used to think I'd be into him if he were younger--I don't anymore. He just annoys me too much sometimes.

OH WOW. Do you believe all those numerical emails about it too?

I've eaten 911 Oreos since 9-11. I'm a terrorist, come get me.

AND WHY:

A) Is it called 9-11 instead of the Twin Towers bombing or the Trade Center bombing?

B) Are you ignoring the attack on the Pentagon which most certainly happened and is not in New York?

I hope somebody scores 911 points against Duke so that number gets a new significance - NOW THIS IS A RANT.
