Yeah, they are real dances & hardly a New York thing lol. Straight from yard (Jamaica). But they can only be done to certain dancehall songs...by the by please don't signal de plane to "21 questions" lol. But the video is a pretty close representation of what a real dancehall concert is like and sometimes the featured artist calls out dances & you do them. Other than that you do whatever or you do the dance that goes w/ a particular song. Eg. Log On dance to "Log On".

I actually like all of those songs. Hot Boy Ronald, Choppa, Josephine Johnny, etc. hypes up the party. There is a new song called "Throwback Thong" that is making everyone go crazy. New Orleans is a very interesting city!

And to clear it up, they aren't gay. The only gays that have had hits recently have heen Big Freda and Vockah Redu.

Girl, that is madness!! I remember in UG that we would have a circle of people around us trying to learn the dances. I would HATE when I saw people doing what they thought the dance was or just doing anything to make people believe that they knew what they were doing. It's funny because when we (the N.O. group) would hit the dance floor, they would stop. Don't get mad because I'm from N.O. and you aren't, country kids! (That's a whole 'nother thread, though!!)

I'm not FROM NO. As an UG, I was from the Big Raggedy. LOL There was maddddd drama/hate between The Windy City Club (Chi-peeps) and the Crescent City Connection (NO, of course). I always connected with the CC peeps cause I spent the majority of my summers here on the Westbank. So, I knew what was going on...

The Chi peeps were perculating and the CC peeps were Popping that thang!
