CT4 arrives at The Pyramids to go over last minute party plans with DableST_1. She has tons of things to do between now and 8:00 and not a moment to waste.


CT4: DableST_1. . .I came to make sure everything is set up for tonight. I have a few changes I need to make. I need for you to have 22 bottles of Ballatore Champagne. It is critical that the champagne is here. I am expecting a surprise guest and want to have something here to toast the guest's presence.

DableST_1: I will have it here just as you requested.

CT4: Now I must go. There is much to do for tonight. I will see you later.


CT4 leaves The Pyramids and heads onward to her next destination. She needs to check on other arrangements for the party for tonight. As she drives her phone rings, she picks it up.

CT4: Hello.

Mystery Man: The eagle flies over the barn at night but with root beer in his mouth.

CT4 (ROFLHAO): Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!???

MM: Are you alone?

CT4: Yes. Are you on crack?

MM: LOL, I always wanted to have code words while working on a covert operation.

CT4: Have you taken care of what I told you to take care of?

MM: Yes I have Big Sister Mission Impossible.

CT4: Very good. Well I am on my way to handle the rest of the items on my to do list.

MM: The duck quacks and the cow moos but what sound does the rabbit make?

CT4: I am about to hang up on you.

MM: Over and out good buddy.


CT4 heads to Kelli's apartment who is at the spa getting a facial, manicure and pedicure. She grabs her keys and heads up to Kelli's apartment. She throws on her dark subglasses, black wide brim hat and scales the wall like Spiderman. . . SIIIIIIKE!!. She has the key and walks to the door like she always does.

CT4 leaves Kelli's apartment with what she came for. She checks her watch and then heads to her salon to get her beautification done. The other items on her to do list can wait until after her appointment. She is tired and worn out. . . She will be glad when tonight is over.

CT4 was tired. She had still not gotten dressed. It was 7:30 and she had been at the Pyramids overseeing the final preparations since 5:30. Finally everything looked ready so she went into the back room and began to get dressed. She had found a beautiful dress that her mother had made for her in black. Her mask was crimson, gold and cream. She was going to enjoy this party come what may. It had been a long time since GC had had a shindig like this one. . . in more ways than one. She wanted this to be a night no one ever forgot.


My Dress

She had finished getting dressed when she heard a man call her name. She opened the door to the back room and saw him. She saw that the DJ had set up and was playing Joe's "All That I Am."

Her heart melted! Her man had made it in time for the party. She ran to him and jumped in his arms. MICHAEL had returned from shooting Barbershop 2. She had not seen him in a month and had missed him so much. Damn him for not coming back last night, now she had to wait hours before they could fornicate.

She quickly filled him in on the plans and thus made him a co-conspirator for love.

CT4: Baby, I am sooooooooo glad you are home. I have missed you soooooo much.

Michael: CT4, baby, I have missed you so much. Eve kept trying to push up on a brotha but I told her my heart belongs to you and only you.

CT4: Oh no she didn't!

Michael: Baby, don't worry about her. You are the only one I want.

CT4: Ditto. Michael you are looking delicious as hell in that black tux. The cut of that tux was made for you.

Michael: The only thing made for me was you. I bless the day we met. You are forever in my heart. CT4, I love you so much.

Ct4 (crying): Oh Michael, I love you so much too. You are everything that I prayed to find in a man. I love you because you are my soul mate and the love I feel for you only grows with time.

Michael: Baby, I cannot live without you any more. **gets down on one knee** I love you, CT4. MY heart belongs to you. You are my forever. You complete me. Will you marry me?

CT4 (voice a la Gina Waters from the scene in the park on Martin): Yes Michael, oh yes baby. (crying harder). . . they kiss

Michael: Baby, you have not even seen the ring yet.

CT4: The ring does not matter. The ring is like our love -- it cannot be broken, but go ahead and let me see it.

Michael: Open the box.

CT4 opens the box and faints!!! But gets right back up and dances and kisses Michael. She shouts, "GLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRY!!!"



She does a pirouette around the room. The DJ had been watching and began to play Luther's So Amazing as Michael took the ring out of the box and put it on CT4's finger. The two began to dance in their own private celebration.


Whoa!! CT4 is engaged! What else will happen once the party actually starts? Will the Mystery Man show? Will he reveal himself to Kelli?

Honeykiss stepped out of the car and waited for her sister to hand the car keys to the valet. THe sisters had finally found dresses early this afternoon. They had spent the rest of the afternoon at the spa. They had run into CT4 at the salon as well as several other women from the GC community. They had enjoyed a pre-masquerade soiree at the salon.


HK: Wow, this place looks fabulous. CT4 went all out.

D.COM: Yeah, I am loving this lighted waterfall. We will have to make sure to take plenty of pics tonight.

HK: Yeah. I wonder what will be on the menu.

D.COM: I hope there are some fruit trays.

HK: Let's head inside.

The two sisters proceed inside where they gasp in awe at the decorations. The grand ballroom has been decorated in crimson, gold, and black. It was an exquisite arrangement -- black tablecloths with crimson and gold centerpieces. There were red and yellow roses all around the room.

HK spied MzSportsLuva, Gina and TNXButterfly across the room headed towards her and D.COM. The group stood talking and checking out the brothas in the room. The food had not yet been set out so the ladies headed to the bar. Thankfully the drinks were free so HK knew she could indulge beyond her 3 drink limit.

Standing at the bar, HK spotted Toocute, her mother's neighbor for the last 20 years. Candygirl and toocute were friends sometimes but usually fell out after a night of playing bid whist. One time Candygirl had pulled out her knife on TooCute for reneging on a hand. They did not speak for 6 months over that one.

HK: Have you seen your mother yet?

D.COM: No, I wonder what she will be wearing?

HK: Is she bringing Dog Dog Bang Bang or one of her other menses?

D.COM: Chile, ain't no telling.

D.COM and HoneyKiss stood talking to their friends when TooCute approached. She had not yet put on her mask.

TooCute: Party over here!!

D.COM: Oh lawd.

TooCute: Ain't no party like a TooCute party because a TooCute Party don't STOP!!

HK: So TooCute did you have fun last night percolating?

TooCute: Chile, yes. This morning I woke up a little stiff and sore. So I soaked in some vinegar and feel a lot better.

All of a sudden, they hear a yell from the entrance.

Candygirl: OOOOOOOOOOH NO THE HEYALL YOU DON'T!! TooCute Mahalia Bertha Mae Jenkins, I know you did not come to this ball wearing the exact same dress as me!! Let me get my blade!! Low down cut throat scallywag.

HK and D.COM looked at each other and rolled their eyes in exasperation. As they head over to their mother, they spot CT4 walking up to Candygirl.

CT4: With all due respect, Ms. Candygirl I will not tolerate foolishness or drama up in my party. If you cannot respect that, you need to roll out. I will gladly refund your money if you wish to leave.

Candygirl: My apologies CT4. I did not mean to cause any ruckus. I remember you as a little baby when my mama used to babysit you. I will respect your event. Besides I look better in the dress than Ms. Toocute anyway.

HK: Mama, you be nice to Ms. TooCute. That's your friend.

Candygirl: Friend, HELL!!

D.COM: Look, we came to have fun not babysit and mediate all night. Now BEHAVE, young lady.

Candygirl: I am still the mama. I taught you 2 everything you know.

HK: Yeah mama that Tic Tac maneuver worked swell last night.

Candygirl: Really? Tell mama all about it!

Monica's "So Gone" was blasting from the Pyramids as Steeltrap, Ideal08 and 1savvydiva stepped out of their pink cadillac and headed to the entrance.

Steeltrap had on a spagetti strap salmon pink Karl Kani dress, that showcased her vibatious curves befitting the fullfigure woman that she is. The pink Manolo shoes matched the light strawberry purse that she was wearing. Her mask was of an emerald color, with a pink ivy over the right eye.

Ideal08 was wearing an apple green Baby Phat gown, with the slit up the length of her arms, matching the length of the slit down her back. Her apple green Manolo's were matching the purse that she carried of the same. The curls in her head had been set to wrap in a bun that then extended down her shoulders like a waterfall. Her mask was of a watermellon color with a green frog leaping across the top of her eyes.

1savvydiva, she was the killa. Her tall, slender physique was covered in a black trench coat that covered the short skirt she was wearing. The pearls that sat above her neck, glistened as if they were birthed from diamonds in the rough. The coat was buttoned at the first three button, leaving the rest unbotton to expose her flat, almost muscularlike stomach. Her black boots her knee high, and if you weren't careful, you would have mistaken her for an R&B singer.



In lieu of a mask, she had a black netted hat tilted to the left. Since she was in the middle, it was clear that she was the leader of the group.

The three women looked at each other as 1savvydiva continued to sing the melody of the song. They walked to the entrance of Pyramids and were met by two Egyptian guards. Their chest exposed the payment of a good winter's workout, while their obviously naked waist were only covered by the white, thin, sheet like towels that almost exposed there... yeah...

"The password please," the light one asked.

Ideal08 and Steeltrap stood next to them, dipped into that infamous AKA lean and gave and earpiercing Skee-Wee that's height was high enough to crack the glasses of the building.

"And I'm with them," 1savvydiva jumped in as the guards let open their spears to let the ladies through.

As the ladies stepped into the 'Mids, they were greeted by DableST 1 and CT4 who were making their way to the room.

"I mean damn," DableST 1 said as she hugged the ladies, "if that note had been any higher we would have had glass falling out of the sky." The group laughed as they inspected one another. "Note to self, I will be buying bullet proof glasses so that we don't have that problem anymore."

"Welcome to the Pyramid's," CT4 said, showing off her newly received engagment ring.

"You're engaged!" Ideal08 yelled while grabbing CT4's hand, "since when and why have you been holding out?

"It just happened," CT4 said, "you see my man Michael over there with The Original Ape."

The ladies waved at the men, who responded in kind.

"Now before I let you ladies proceed any further," CT4 said, "I need for ya'll to promise me that there won't be any fighting from the three of you."

"Me, fight?" Ideal08 questioned, "oh I don't fight... not in this dress."

"I'm too old for that," Steeltrap jumped in.

"I'm not," 1savvydiva said and the group of ladies were laughing again.

"Well anyway, the food is on the right and the sexy men are on the left. I think the bruhs are about to stroll so I will need to let you go." CT4 said as she heard the "Atomic Dog" intro being played.

"Don't be strolling in that dress now girl," Ideal08 said as she sees CT4 and DableST 1 run to towards the Omegas, "I'm going to hate for your everythings to be falling out."

"My everythings are not going to fall out!" CT4 yelled back, starting to throw her arms back and participate in the infamous party hop.

Ideal08, Steeltrap and 1savvydiva look at them and smile.

"Now remember, we are looking for Prayerful, when we find that chick, we'll have to exit towards the back," Ideal08 says as the three women split up and enjoy the night's festivities.

CT4 steps out of the party hop after the Atomic Dog went off. She had spied Kelli walk in with Rain Man. Rain Man was out on the dance floor dancing solo. Kelli looked divine in her fire red ball gown. She walked over to Kelli snagging Ideal on her way. She pulled the 2 over to a private corner.


CT4 (flexed her left hand): BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM!!! Ideal saw it already but I had to share my good news with my girls.

KElli (crying): When did this happen? That ring is BAD AS HELL!!

CT4: RIGHT before the party started. Michael walked in here looking the FINNEST I have EVAAAAAAA seen him look. He made me moist.

Kelli: I am so happy for you.

CT4: Thanks Kelli. Are you okay? I know you are still hurting but you know God has a way of working it out betta than you could ever imagine.

Kelli: Yeah I know.

CT4: Ideal, as my oldest and dearest friend, I want to ask you to do me the honor of being my maid of honor on my special day.

IDeal08 (crying): Girl, I would be honored.

Ideal and CT4 hug. CT4 and Kelli hug.

CT4: Kelli, you know I want you up there with me as well as my bridesmaid.

Ideal: Where is Michael?

CT4: Over there talking to Candygirl with her crazy ghetto self. Yall missed her almost about to rumble with TooCute earlier. They have on the same dress.

Ideal: Shuuuuuuuut up!!

CT4: Yall let me go rescue my man from Candygirl. Yall have fun. I have tons of surprises for the guests.

Ideal08: Holla at a diva!

CT4 went into the back room to check on Mystery Man. He was back there pacing.

CT4: You okay?

MM: Yeah, nervous as hell.

CT4: Don't be.

MM: How does she look?

CT4: You do know you can go out there and see for yourself? No one could possibly recognize you with that mask on!

MM: Okay I will, I will. Give me a minute.

CT4 walks back into the main room. She sees Rain Man no longer dancing. He is standing on the stage talking to the DJ. He grabs the microphone.

Rain Man: Excuse me, ladies and gentlemen. I have something I need to say. To Kelli, I have loved you for almost four years, but your heart belonged to another. I waited and prayed and continued to love. You are a beautiful woman. Our love is like a flower, it had to grow and it grew over time. You allowed me to kiss away your tears and caress you in the middle of the night. You make me smile and laugh. You keep me going when I want to give up. You are the greatest love song come to life. Kelli, I love you now and forever. Will you marry me?

CT4 had drank 4 glasses of champagne during Rain Man's speech. She was holding Michael's hand while Mystery Man stood at her side seething with rage. Kelli had walked to the front of the crowd where she saw Rain Man down on one knee on the stage with an open ring box in his hand.


What will Kelli say? What will she do?

Kelli stared at Rain Man and knew that her moment of truth had arrived. She looked at Rain Man and turned and looked at CT4. She looked behind her and saw about 200 folks from GC staring at her and Rain Man.


Kelli: I. . . I. . . .I . . . I (crying). . .I. . .

MM: HELL NO SHE WILL NOT MARRY YOU!!!

CT4 does a silent GLOOOOOOOORY!!

Kelli: Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

MM: She cannot and will not marry you because she is STILL IN LOVE WITH ME!!

Mystery man takes off his mask to reveal himself to everyone. The whole crowd gasps. Kelli faints!! CT4 rushes to help her up. Mystery Man follows. He helps Kelli stand up. He relishes in touching her.

Kelli: BOBBY EARL is that REALLY you!!?!?!??!!?

Bobby Earl (TAFKAMM): Yes it is me. Kelli, you cannot marry him because you are still in love with me and I am still in love with you!!!

The DJ plays "Still in Love" by Brian McKnight as Bobby Earl takes Kelli's hand and leads her to the center of the dance floor where they dance. All of GC looks on. Most of the women are boohooing. CT4 is crying harder than Kelli. Rain Man is crying too as he still is on the stage with the ring.

(CT4 stops and laughs her ass off at her own self)

The song finishes and Bobby Earl gets down on one knee.

Bobby Earl: Kelli, I left you 2 years ago for reasons I can never tell you. Every day apart from you was hell on Earth. I only left because I had no other choice. The whole time I was away, you were the only thing that kept me going. THE ONLY THING!! I came back as soon as I could and I stand here today STILL IN LOVE with you but that love has grown in ways that I am not eloquent enough to put in words. But my heart is forever yours. I want to grow old with you. I want to watch you sleep. I want to be there with you when you achieve your goals and dreams. Tonight, I want to begin my life's journey with you. I want to be the first thing you see in the morning and the last thing you see at night. I want to hold your hand as we grow old together. Tonight, I am asking you will you marry me?

Kelli stood there with her mouth WIDE OPEN and tears staining her dress. She looked at Bobby Earl who had reached in his pocket and produced a ring box which he opened.

Kelli: That's my ring! But how did you get it.

Bobby Earl: CT4 helped me get it. You still have not answered my question.


What is Kelli going to do? Two proposals in 5 minutes. . . .stay tuned.

Kelli: CT4 told me to forgive you, but I did not know it would be so soon. I never expected to see you again. I loved you with verything I had in me. That love never died. Rain Man I never loved you. I'm sorry but my heart belongs to this man right here in front of me.

Bobby Earl: What are you saying?

Kelli: I'm saying that I will marry you.

Bobby Earl: What are you doing tonight?

Kelli: Tonight? But I need a dress. We need a minister, flowers, etc.

Bobby Earl: CT4 got it all together today. The minister is here waiting. Your dress, the original dress, is here too.

CT4: Come on, girl. Let's get you ready!

Kelli: How long have you known about all of this?

CT4: Remember yesterday when I told you I hit a man with my car. It was Bobby Earl. He stayed at my house last night and umm slept with you too.

Kelli: Dayum. You are the schemingest mofos, but this is a HUGE SURPRISE!!


CT4: Come on, let's get ready while The Pyramids staff gets the room ready for your wedding.



CT4 and Kelli head to the back room to get her ready for her wedding night. The guests mingle and talk. . . .

"I can't believe she's marrying him!" NinjaPoodle says as she was talking to Prayerful, "I wish a man would pull that kind of stunt with me and expect me to marry his ass."

"Poor RainMan," Prayerful says as she looks at him sitting in a chair, crying his heart out and cursing himself for ever getting involved with Kelli.

"That's what he gets for doing my girl, TNXButtefly like that. Teach his ass!" FinerWoman10-A-91 says as she walks to the punch table to get her a drink.

Prayerful walks to the punch table and she feels a vibration in her purse.

"Hey sweetie how are you doing?" Stephano says from the phone.

"I'm good, but your son is in hear crying his eyes out."

"Which one?"

"RainMan."

"That damn boy, look put him on the phone,"

"I don't think that would be a good idea, let me talk to him."

"Alright, but don't get his hopes high over some woman or whatever. I bet you that is why he is crying."

"You ain't never lied."

"Remember your assignment, it has to be done tonight!"

"Yes sir,"

Prayerful hears a dialtone and she hangs up her phone. She walks over to where RainMan is sitting.

"RainMan, come with me!"

RainMan gets up and wipes his face from the tears he's crying. You could still hear his heart crying, as he is whimpering as he walks. RainMan looks around to see people laughing at him or talking about him.

"RainMan, forget about Kelli," Prayerful says as she is walking and can feel him following her.

"But I love..."

"I said forget about her. I have someone else, in mind that you might want to speak with."

Ideal08 and Steeltrap are watching and following RainMan and Prayerful towards the back of Pyramids.

"You sure you want to do this now?" Steeltrap asks.

"Look, you give your condolences to RainMan, I'll deal with Miss Prayerful, alright?"

The two women smile as the catch up to Prayerful and RainMan.

Nupe4Life is calling Doggystyle, who is at home waiting to hear from BigSisterShaft.

"Yo man," Nupe4Life yells above the crowd, "you will not believe the stunt my frat brother pulled at Pyramids."

"What did MandingoNupe do?"

"No, No man Bobby Earl. He proposed to Kelli in the middle of the Pyramids, right after RainMan proposed to him."

"You're kidding?"

"Naw dog, that's why I'm calling you. They are about to get married in a few minutes and I think you should be up here to see our boy off."

"Let me call The OriginalApe and Blackwatch so they can see this wedding."

"They already here, we're just waiting on your old ass to show up."

"Aight, I'll be there, but first I got to handle some family business, if you know what I mean."

"I hear ya', twenty years and that girl still got you whipped."

"At least I got something to whip."

The two men share a laugh as they hang up the phone. TwoOneThree is sitting in the family room table and he is looking at the pictures of him, OneOneTwo, BigSisterShaft and Doggystyle when they were a younger family.

Doggystyle grabs his bat and walks into the family room.

"Word on the street is that my son OneOneTwo ain't dead. I also heard, from your Auntie AKA2D'91, that she saw you and that "ghost" riding around town. I know that your mama's sister is not crazy, yet, I do remember spending about $7,000 burrying his ass. And your mother, oh how I love that woman, she's still grieving over her loss. I'm glad she went to Jamaica so that she can have some piece and quiet. So you have two choices, tell me where my son is, or you can join him where he should be!"

TwoOneThree is watching his father pat the bat in the palm of his hand.

LadyGreek and BigSisterShaft are sitting down at the Delta meeting all eyes are on Alice/Ann.

"I can't wait to bust her, for real this time." LadyGreek says under her breath to BigSisterShaft.

"We got this, remember, The 411 is here and besides I made some of these sorors here. We got pull. We got another ten minutes before things go down."

As the meeting continues and she watches Alice give her report, BigSisterShaft feels something in her heart, like a child yelling and screaming. She grabs her heart, feels it, then places her hand back down.

"What's wrong BigSisterShaft?"

"Something's not right. If I didn't know any better, I think my son is in trouble."

"Look, OneOneTwo is not in Hell, I promise you that. I know I may have joked about that but come on now."

"It's funny you mention him. Look, let us be quiet before we get kicked out of the meeting."

The two ladies listen to the speak with attentive ears and they wait for their "turn."

Librasoul: "What did you say? Fee Fee did what?"

Gyrl: "What? I didn't sat nothing bout no Fee Fee. You must be hungry cause you hearing things."

Libra thinks to herself, okay. Well since she doesnt wanna come right out and say it, I will figure it out on my own. Fee Fee will be at this party tonight. So we will be there with bells on.

Libra: "My bad, gyrl. But the party? Is a fa sho. It's a masquerade ball right?"

Gyrl: Yup! It is gonna be off the hook!"

Libra thinks perfect. I know just what I need to do. "No doubt. This party will INDEED be off the hook."

Gyrl7 and Librasoul head into the Pyramids with their masks up. As they walk through the front door, they are almost knocked down by Prayerfull and Rainman.

Gyrl7: "DAYUM! WATCH WHERE THE FU--Oh snap! Was that prayerfull and rainman?"

Librasoul: "Looked like it! I don't know though it mighta been Warren Sapp and Derrick Brooks the way they are barrelling through here."

Librasoul sees Ideal08 and Steeltrap.

Librasoul: "Hey there ladies! How are ya-"

Ideal08: "Libra, what's up, girl. Not time to chat, urgent matters to attend to."

Ideal08 and Steeltrap hurry off after Prayerfull and Rainman.

Librasoul: "Well wtf is going on here? Everyone is acting weird as hail."

Gyrl7: "I dunno, but there must be something major going down over there if everyone is running. I can't miss it!"

Gyrl7 turns and hurries off after everyone so she can see what's going on.

Librasoul pauses for a minute then realizes this will be the perfect opportunity to find Fee Fee. She scans the room and sees Fee Fee and Determined1 chatting by the or-durbs (). Librasoul goes over to the table.

Librasoul: "What's the deal y'all?"

Determined1: "Nothing girl, what's up? You just missed some Deee-rama. Rain Man got shot down and Kelli engaged Bobby Earl instead."

Librasoul: "For REAL?? DAYUM! Ahh, to be fashionably late! So anyways, what's up Fee Fee?"

Fee Fee: "Nothing much. This party is the FIRE. Too bad Rain Man got BURNED."

Librasoul: " Um...yeah. Speaking of fires and burning..."

Flashback to just before the party

Tnxbutterfly drives to the seedy part of GC. She arrives at the agreed upon site a few minutes a head of schedule and shuts the engine off.

She fiddles with the radio as she waits for the mysterious stranger to arrive.

tap tap tap. Tnx jumps slightly as the stranger taps on the passenger side window.

Tnx: Thanks for meeting me on such short notice. Do you have the stuff?

Mystery person: Yeah I got it

Tnx: You're sure it works?

Mystery person: I used it on Ideal08 the other day and it did the job.

Tnx: Well, Prayerfull, it obviously didn't work all that well because Ideal08 is still alive.

Pray: (slightly annoyed) Just a minor setback. Look are we talking about Ideal08 or Rainman?

Tnx: (sighing) Rainman

Pray: And you don't want to kill him do you? You just want something to knock him out till you can put Plan B into action right?

Tnx: Right

Pray: Good. Now do exactly as I say and everything should go according to plan. (pausing) Now, remember, discretion is key. Knowing CT4 like I do, she is going to have the place clawing with the GCPD. You can not take any chances on anyone seeing you slip the potion in Rainman's drink. There is probably be some agents from the I. H. P. E. decetive agency there too.

Tnx: I.H. P. E. ? What's that

Pray: Inch High Private Eye Detective agency. I.H. P. E Detective agency works closely with the GCPD. Some of the agency's best agents are the AKA's and Delta's. They see things better then Miss Cleo ever could. One false move and you can kiss Rainman goodbye

Tnx: Ok, I'll be careful. Anything else?

Pray: Do you have the black gloves?

Tnx: Yeah I have them. I still don't understand what they are for.

Pray: (rolling her eyes) Daym, cuz, don't you know anything? The black gloves are to concel your grubby little finger prints. You don't want the police to trace anything back to you in case anything goes wrong now do you?

Tnx: I suppose not. (taking a deep breath) So, make sure noone sees me, make sure I'm wearing the black gloves, and be discrete. Got it! Anything else?

Pray: No, I think you're ready to put the plan into action

Meanwhile, back in the party…

1SavvyDiva comes back from the bar and realizes that Steeltrap and Ideal08 are missing.

1SD: “Now where in the world did those heifers go?” She starts to search around the room, she turns around suddenly and runs smack dab into the cutest guy in the party (other than CT4’s new fiance’). “That right there is gonna cost you $5.50 padna!” she says with her signature smart-arse mouth.

Starang21: “Sweetie, my apologies…would you let me buy you another?”

1SD looks him up and down and shakes the guilt off and says, “Sweetie…I would let you buy me TWO!”

Starang21 smiles and takes her by the arm and walks her to the bar.

(After 2 drinks, they are sitting, conversing comfortably as if they’ve known each other for years)

Starang21: “So is there a Mr. 1SavvyDiva?”

1SD: **gulp** “Well, there is someone in my life, but he is on the road so much, we hardly get to see each other. Sometimes it gets lonely, you know?”

Starang21: “I understand all too well…that’s why I will NEVER do the long-distance thing again…what does your friend do for a living?”

1SD: “Um…he’s a…performer”

Starang21: “A performer, eh? Anyone I know?”

1SD: “Enough about me, you said that you just visiting GC, what brought you here?”

Starang21: “Nice switch! Well…to make a long story short, I am looking for my birth mother.”

1SD: “Wow…and you have reason to believe that she is from GC?”

Starang21: “Yes…I do”

1SD: “Well…oh there’s my sister…listen, I will give you my card, if there is anything I can do for you, please don’t hesitate to call…anytime. Oh, who do you know here at the party?”

Starang21: “WELLLL, nice meeting you, I will speak to you again!”



1SD: “Ha, nice switch…party-crasher! Good Luck!” as she watches him walk away, ‘Damn, Luda needs to get back quick, I think I am in heat’

Miss. Mocha walks in slowly. She is by herself. She's not new in GC, but she usually keeps to herself, so she doesn't know that many people. She was surprised to even receive an invitation to CT4's party. She didn't know that CT4 knew who she was.


She goes to find CT4. CT4 is throwing back drinks, some guy is making a really long speech.


Miss. Mocha: "CT4, I just wanted to thank you for inviting me to your party."

CT4: "Oh, no problem. You're Miss. Cafe au lait, right?"

Miss. Mocha: (sighing) "Miss. Mocha".

CT4: (taking a huge slup) "Oh, my bad. It's cool to meet you Miss. Mocha."

Miss. Mocha: "See you around."



Miss. Mocha does a lap around the whole ballroom. She tries to see if she recognizes anybody. She sees somebody she knows. She doesn't know whether to approach the young lady or not. The last time they talked, they realized that they were both trying to date the same man, Nas. He had surprised them both by kicking them to the curb, and getting with Kelis.

Miss. Mocha takes a deep breath. "Hey, Redefined Diva."

"Hey, Miss. Mocha. Long time no see. You still working up at General Hospital?" asked Redefined Diva.

Miss. Mocha shakes her head. "Girl, you know the fire bruned down the Viagra Unit. I'll have to wait until they rebuild it, or work in the Urinary Tract Infection Lab."

"It's like that sometimes." Redefined commiserates.

"Are you still messing with Nas?" Miss. Mocha asked.

Redefined shakes her head. "Naw girl. He always liked you more, anyway. I can take a hint. I have a new man." She pauses. "There he is now. See ya."

Miss. Mocha watches her walk away.

"I gotta get a life." She thinks. "There always seems to be so many interesting things happening in GC, and I'm not involved with any of them. I have to change that. Maybe I can change that by hanging out with some of my co-workers, or maybe some of those people who live on AKA Ave or Delta Drive."

RedefinedDiva walks towards the punch table and makes a sudden rush to the bathroom instead.

I haven't been feeling good lately. Yesterday, I almost passed out in class or feeling nauseas. And my breast feel so soft.

RedefinedDiva comes out of the bathroom and she looks at the food tray again.

Hmm... that seafood tray looks delicious. I bet that would go real good with some strawberries and grapes. Damn, where are the grapes?

RedefindedDiva runs into her girl, CT4, who just came from upstairs.

"Is this wedding going to start anytime soon?" she asked.

'It will begin soon enough, just wait. Are you doing okay? You've been acting funny?"

"I'm good, I just feel hungry."

"Yeah, you're glowing."

"What makes you think I'm glowing?"

"You look completely different in this light. Maybe it's just the shade."

"Yeah, maybe."

RedefinedDiva grabs a plateful of food and sits down and feeds her face.
