I'm thrilled you are going to Kappa Delta and Alpha Delta Pi's Preference Parties. Pref is a wonderful experience, you will always remember it. kddani is absolutely right about keeping your heart and mind open about both chapters, Preference is where you experience the spirit of house so be open to it!

Congrats, Tara! Both are great houses with strong National reps. I'm glad that you had a good time and received both pref invitions.

Please oh please post how the prefs went as soon as possible!!!!!

Tara—I am sooo happy that you got asked back to both! It gives me hope that things will work out (because somehow a large majority of the rush stories from the past seem to not end up well hmmm….like they don’t like their pref houses or something). But anyway I am soooo happy for you! I hope that you get your first choice! Keep us posted; I can’t wait to hear where you go!

Tara, have an amazing Pref night! Everyone who said that Pref night is really when you see the spirit of the sisterhood is absolutely right...it's a very special time and will let you know truly where you feel most at home. As for conversation running out, don't sweat it. Anyone will tell you I'm the chattiest girl in the world and even I have a tough time at recruitment events...small talk can be tricky. Anyway, good luck, have fun, and know that we're all anxiously awaiting the results. I wish you nothing but the best.

Good luck tonight!! Pref nite is every greek's favorite time for a reason- the sisterhood that everyone has talked about for a week is really given a chance to shine.

I am so excited that you are going back to Kappa Delta (shameless plu)! Pref nite there is one of my best memories.

Both ADPi and KD should be so excited to see you back tonight, they are both great organizations.

Hey everyone! Prefs went very well, i loved both houses...but i signed my card a few hours ago and bid day is tomorrow so i'm super excited! I'm actually in the union right now still waiting on the sororities to finish their lists. I really hope i get the house i wanted (even though they were both WONDERFUL GLOs). I doubt i'll sleep much tonight.... Anyways, i am starving right now, just figured i'd tell you that. We were allowed to buy dinner tonight in the union and i had no cash so i went to the ATM and (since i bought $300+ worth of books) i have no available funds. So i haven't eaten at all today except for a slice or sorry cafeteria food and i'm about to chew my own arm off. Wish me luck in staying sane until i am allowed to go back to my dorm and fill up on my stock of M&M's and Cheez-its. Whatta heathy dinner right? Anyways, i'll be around so feel free to keep posting, i'll be on later tonight most likely.....
