Also heard the Alabama's total placement rate was a little lower than last year - slightly below 90%.

According to U of Alabama:
UA says 2,683 women attended the first round of events for Fall 2016 formal recruitment at the Capstone, meaning 93 percent received bids from 16 Panhellenic sororities participating.

Here's the OK State bid list for this year! http://gogreek.okstate.edu/sites/gog...%20website.pdf
I have one rec girl who pledged Zeta Tau Alpha and one who it looks like did not accept a bid. Also have a last-minute recommendation at the University of Southern California!

lsu will now do recruitment after school starts because of the flooding. I wrote 2 recs this year but just found out one of my girls is not going this semester because he mother is dying of cancer. I questioned if she would want to go through recruitment but her mother really wanted her to experience everything and have fun. Her mother is not supposed to make it through the week so she made the right choice.

My thoughts are going out to her, tootiepie2. Puts everything into perspective.

My UGA girl also withdrew from recruitment. Said it was very competitive and that she didn't feel like she fit in. I want to say "I could have told you that!" but instead I hope she finds a fit somewhere else.
