WGLO's?
I wasn't aware there were WGLO's. It's 2001; have we not learned anything?

If Aephi wasn't at my school, I guess I would have been in SDT or AZD since I went to their prefs. I probaly would have fit in better with SDT even though Azd is a great chapter also.

Well, AChiO was second on my bid card, so that would have been where I went if it wasn't for AXD!

I'd rather drop out of rush than join the local sororities on my campus.

I was just wondering why this is true for you.

Pi Beta Phi. They were my very close second choice during rush, and I would definately have gone Pi Phi if it weren't for SK. I think my college experience would have been much different, though; my chapter and Pi Phi are very dissimilar. (I was choosing between extremes during prefs) I can still remember the song they sang at prefs...it was so pretty!

I would be a GDI like I was before I joined my local. I just didn't feel that the other chapters were right for me.

I'd say Gamma Phi Beta, they're really involved in all aspects of campus life and great girls! We don't have Chi-O at UBC, but it sounds like a really great organization, if I was going to university in the South I think I'd definately go Chi-O!

no fair asking this of the person who went to the school with only 3 sororities...
but Theta was the other group I preffed, so I would have gone there. It's funny, I've changed a lot since college, as we all have (those of us who are out of college, anyway), and I think that if I rushed today at the same college with the same groups, I'd go Theta. That doesn't change the fact that I adore Kappa and truly believe that it is one of the best, if not THE best sorority, of which to be an alumna member. I'm just a different person and would have joined the group into which I fit.
My fiance, a recent graduate of Pitt, said that if I had rushed there I most likely would have gone Chi O or...Kappa! too funny. I guess I was just born to be a KKG.

On my campus...Gamma Phi Beta
Otherwise...I think TriDelta, Kappa, and Theta are all really strong nationally, and they have great chapters at Univ. of Washington (probably where I would have gone otherwise)

There AREN'T WGLO'S anymore. Historically, the NPC sororities have been all-white, but that has changed in the past years. My Kappa chapter had Asian, African-American, and Jewish members, all of whom were great sisters. There's even a rumor on my undergrad campus that the FiJi chapter left because they wanted to initiate a homosexual member and an Afro-American member and their nationals disapproved (this was MANY years ago).
We have learned quite a bit in this year 2002.

I'd go Chi O all over again, but if Chi O wasn't on my campus when I rushed, I would have gone ADPi, who I preffed second. I would have like to see what KKG, Pi Phi and Theta had to offer.

How things change in just a few months!!! I just looked at this and while I still really like Phi Sigs and AST and Phi Sigma Sigma, I think that I would have to say in getting to know the SDT's on my campus, I think I would really be happy with them. The other ones are great, but, I mean I hang out at the SDT house just like if they were my own sisters!
