Argh. I'm really fighting the temptation to make my prediction for the rest of the season - the whole kiss of death thing is keeping me from doing so.

I'm soooo not a fan of those voodoo-type challenges. Let people win on their own accord instead of winning because they're not being ganged-up on by the other players. It seems grossly unfair for the poor target, whether they be a threat-related target or a disliked-by-the-tribe target.

The writing sure is on the wall for Christina, isn't it? I expect her to go before Tarzan unless she wins immunity. And speaking of Tarzan, have we seen him make an alliance with one or more of the women and I'm just forgetting about it? I'm not sure I understand why he's in the position he's in. Especially considering how much he has annoyed some of the women (Chelsea, for instance). Am I missing something or is he just ultra-lucky to still be there?

To be honest, I'm on the fence regarding how I feel about the direction the game has taken. I'm impressed that the women have been able to pull it together enough to get to this point, remembering how helpless they were at the beginning of the season. But I'm just not a fan of half of the women left, so it's hard to be happy that they're all there.

That actually doesn't bother me, because it provides a great opportunity to see where people stand and what they are thinking. If only Kat had paid attention, bless her heart.

But having your doll go up in flames and then seeing the skeleton -- wow!

I don't think we've seen it. But why would anyone vote him out? He's ideal to take to the end, because who would vote for him. And if it's not a plan to take him to the end, why target him yet?

I guess the game is afoot.

All of the men on the jury, plus Kat probably, because she's a brat, pouty and seems like she will flip out the moment she's voted out.

This is a serious argument for bringing Kat to the end. It keeps her from freaking out and voting for the fodder, and she will make no sense in final Tribal (I actually want her to make it to the end so I can see her face the jury). However, since everyone knows she's too dumb to be strategic, she's also not pissed anyone off, so if they don't vote in respect of game play, Kat could win if she made it to the finals.

You think? Seems to me he's alienated pretty much everyone, and I don't know that any of them felt like they had any alliance with him once Colton's "Outcasts" alliance fell apart at the tribal mix-up.

I doubt Jonas would be inclined to vote for him, given the way Tarzan treated him and the "hard feelings" comment. I don't think Mike or Jay felt any love towards him -- I remember Jay talking about how Tarzan drove him crazy, and Tarzan helped vote Jay out. Lief the Silent, who knows, but Tarzan voted for him, too. And I think Troy would vote for the person who he thinks played the game the best, and there's no way that's Tarzan.

I think by the time the men are all voted out and they watch the women fight amongst themselves for several tribal councils, they'll be pleased to vote for the one "token" man that they know was kept around because he was perceived to be a weak opponent by the women. I think they'd vote for him not because they like him, but because they hate what the women did.

Maybe. I hope not, though. If Tarzan makes it to the end, I guess it will boil down to whether they really hate what the women (read: Kim, Chelsea and Sabrina) did and hate the women for doing it, or whether they hate what happened but respect the women's gameplay for doing it. I have to think Troy, at least, would be in the later camp and would vote for Kim on those grounds. Maybe Jay and Jonas, too.

Of course, I could be all wrong.

I guess it bothers me because the "quiz" already made it clear where people stood and what they were thinking. I can understand each portion of the challenge being implemented separately, but to combine them seemed a bit too much.

I can see that.

I laughed, though, when Kim said she was sorry she won the challenge. I had thought before they got started that this is one challenge no one should want to win. She knew she was going to get to pick at least one person to go with her if she won. If it were me, the problems that could result from being in that position would be all the incentive I would need to throw the challenge. Besides, winning shows what a good sense you have of the pulse of the tribe and how everyone is thinking. Why advertise that? Incentive two.

Question

CBS said last night the ARace finale is next Sunday (May 6). Does that mean the Survivor: One World finale is Mother's Day (May 13th), thereby indicating a double-elimination on Survivor this Wednesday?

Oh, Kat. That exit interview was one of the more pitiful things I've seen in a while. Part of me feels bad for her; most of me is happy to see a TC go the way I was hoping. Finally! How fitting that she had just said she was hoping for a blind side because they're fun and exciting. How fun/exciting was it for ya, Kat?

Despite the women's claim that they saw Kat as a physical threat after her performance in the immunity challenge, I'm pretty sure that was just lip service. They were mad at her for not taking Christina and Tarzan on the reward, and the fact that she performed well was just fuel to the fire.

One more episode before the big finale!

Agreed on everything here. I hope sees herself on TV and realizes how ridiculous she is, but i doubt it.

You're channeling me; these were my thoughts exactly.

The look on her face as she realized what was happening was priceless -- as was her talk about how she was running the game. Ditto Alicia. Delusional, both of them.
