You said you clue was "decked out in purple" but the only chapter you said that about was Mandi, not Ashleigh.
Not that it matters, but perhaps that's why less people caught it.

Yay! Welcome to our sisterhood. One of my favorite sisters is an alum from your chapter! She was the first president of our alumnae chapter, but she moved back to Chicago though.

It wasn't until GC that I "heard" most NPCers and NICers refer to their affiliations as anything more than past tense.
