Man! We could really put together an OFF THE CHAIN slow jam CD up in here!

I agree with every song in list forum!!! Y'all forgot a couple...

Love In An Elevator- Johnny Gill
Nothing Even Matters- Lauren Hill & D'Angelo (was this mentioned?)

My other favorites?

The Purple one himself...Prince!!!-Scandalous Sex Suite (Yes....the 20-minute version), Adore, Insatiable
Love Scene-Joe ("All That I Am" is still a hot CD)
Alone-Jodeci ("Diary of a Mad Band" still gets mad rotation)
Do You Mind- Janet Jackson
Anytime, Anyplace- Janet Jackson
12 Play- R. Kelly
Moments In Love- Art of Noise
Weak- SWV
Femininity- Eric Benet
Ohhh Ahhhh- Boyz II Men
Say Yes- Floetry
Love Me In A Special Way- DeBarge

There are many more.....

I was the resident slow jam tape maker amongst my friends....I have now graduated to CD's and I charge! lol

If we made a CD based on these responses it would be off the chain. Whew I'm taking a stroll down memory lane and I have a on my face.

I took about 85% of the songs listed here and others that came to mind and made a playlist on my computer that equaled to 130 songs. . .

A lot of you recommended songs I had never heard of that were pretty cool. THANKS!!

*hijack*

I'm sorry but I saw this and the 1st thing I thought about was "Float on" (forgot the name of the group, but you remember "Libra - and my name is Charles!") and now I can't get that stoopid song out of my head!

Float, float, float on. . .

*end of hijack*

My turn

Here is my (short) list

Art of Noise - Moments in Love--CLASSIC! 10 minutes of pure bump 'n grind musical sound FX.

Quincy Jones - Setembro (Brazilian Wedding Song). I MUST have this song playing when I am consummating my wedding vows. BTW, I was told that QJ had a album of similar sounding songs called "Songs of Love" (?). If that's true I must snag a copy of the album before I get married.

The Cars - Who's Gonna Drive You Home Tonight - Sounds like a romantic song that would play on a warm summer night at about sunset when you're in a convertible with your date at Lovers Leap. Very reminiscent (sp?), very 80s.

??? - I Wanna Know What Love Is - OMG, the ultimate 80s middle school/high school dance bump 'n grind song. I remember dancing with this 80s big haired blond girl when this song was playing and the whole experience was, uh, very erotic.
Hal Sparks was right, when the singer began hitting the high notes towards the end of the song, every guy got an [arousal] and had to back away from his partner. OK, lemme quit before I get MAJOR flashbacks.

Hey CT4...I'm sure your friend would love some of the new stuff!

I don't really like Brian McKnight either, but I am feeling his new song "Backseat"

and of course Bey-Z's (a la Steeltrap) "Speechless"
