I'm so excited for the new book to come out. I just finished up rereading book 5 and I'm starting book 6 so info is fresh in my mind when I read the last book. I'm ready to find out if Snape is on the dark side or really part of the order......I've heard rumors both ways; I don't know what to think!

Actually, having just finished all six books (again), I think it's pretty clear which side Snape is on and why. I guess I'll find out if I'm right in just over a week.

I think we've had the "Snape: Good or Bad" discussion earlier in this thread. (And personally, I think good and bad are not the right choices.)

Maybe twist it a little -- how about a last chance thread for people to lay out what they think will happen/how things will be resolved/who will die, etc. will be resolved in Book 7. No arguments necessarily, just predictions. Kind of a chance for everybody to give their own take on "Professor Trelawney's Predictions of What Will Happen in Harry Potter 7."

Then, in a week+, we can look back and see who really has The Inner Eye.

I"m embarrassed to admit this, but the Harry Potter for Grown Ups yahoo group has been doing this. I think they've even made it a contest to see who has the most correct predictions. It's interesting to see what everyone thinks. Personally, I care most about Snape. I just reread the books, and while I think it's obvious which side he's on, I can certainly see him going either way.

I'm a complete fan of spoilers. They don't ruin the book for me. I actually enjoy spoilers b/c they make me anticipate what is to come and how everything happens.
