On our first date, this guy suggested that I pierce my eyebrow. I should have known at that moment that things never would have worked out between us! I have had pierced ears since the age of twelve. That hurt so much and got so infected that I could never pierce anything again.

so much skin, so many holes....
soon as i saw a forum on piercings, i had to share my experience.
i have 11 earhole piercings; 5 in one, 6 in another. i have had my eyebrow and my labret (the spot under your bottom lip) pierced. my dad took me for both of them to make sure the place was clean and certified. i took them out 2 years ago because i outgrew them. then i went on this tattooing rampage... but thats another story.
now i've let my 9 earholes remain empty and i just wear earrings in my first 2 holes that i got when i was a baby. four months ago my mom talked me into getting my nose pierced and since i had a job and i didnt think they would mind... i got a tiny little silver stud in my nose... i have to say that was the worst pain i have encountered of all the piercings i have had. well thats my sharing moment. to those who are planning to get piercings, just make sure everything is clean and that you take care of the piercings. i havent had any of mine get infected.

i hate hate hate piercings on a guy...i guess because i like my man pretty preppy looking...not pirates!
personally, i have my ears pierced - 2 holes in each ear and my cartilage in my left ear...but i only wear earrings in one hole on each side. pretty boring.
let me add...it makes me incredibly angry when people drag their little newborn or toddler kids to get their ears pierced - they cry and scream...why does a baby need earrings??? they dont even have hair yet for gods sake. im sorry to all those who have done this - but i think its cruel, silly, and not your decision to make! what if they ended up like the one lady on here who said she had virgin ears and liked them that way

I had my ears pierced as a newborn. There are two sides. My mom figured I would want it done so she had it done by my pediatrician with my first vaccinations. She did that because once kids are older they play with their earrings and they are more likely to get infected or torn. By the time I was a toddler I was use to them. I am also glad because I don't remember the pain-but that's not really a big deal. I agree about the virgin ears. I feel the need to wear earrings every time I leave the house. I think it's a weird fetish-if there are holes they need to be filled. But I probably would have gotten them done anyway.
I have one piercing in each ear and I have my left nipple pierced. If you saw me you would never guess I have my nipple pierced.
I don't really think anything of it when I see people with piercings. To each his own. I do think it's odd when people have everything pierced they possibly can.
The weirdest piercing I have ever seen was that little flap of skin above your top front teeth that connects to the inside of your upper lip. Every time this girl smiled you could see the ball on the hoop. It was kind of creepy. It takes all kinds

I actually only have my ears pierced. My husband however has both his ears done--he wears 4 gauge hoops or plugs in them--he had them stretched to zero--but it did not look too good so he went back to 4 gauge. He had his tongue pierced for about 2 years and took it out.
I have never been able to get into piercings on myself (but for others that is great) but tattooing is a different story for me....

i got my first holes in my ears when i was 6 as my b-day present. since then i got a second set of holes in my ears and 3 cartilidge piercings in my left ear. i also have both nipples done as well as my clit hood . . . my tounge too. i don't think i look like the type that would have my nipples and clit hood done. they will come out someday. since i start my pre student teaching next semester i will wear a retainer in my tounge most of the time. i can't imagine ever getting rid of my tounge piercing. i've had it done for over 2 years now and i love it.

I don't really like any kind of body piercings. I have my ears pierced and that's it. And I can't stand guys who are pierced. It's just not my thing.

I've got two earrings in my left ear - one in the lobe, and one in the upper part of the ear. I'm probably going to end up taking them out when I go looking for a job, but it was kinda an impulse decision. I figured that if at any point I didn't want to have them anymore, I could take them out, the holes would close, and that would be that, kinda a low risk decision on my part. The rest of me is pretty clean-cut, still got the earrings though.

I have a belly bar (silver with a knob on the top and a daisy inside my navel) and one hole in each ear. I had my tongue pierced last summer but it kept annoying me so I took it out.
I can take or leave piercings on men, but I LOVE tattoos on them.

I got my ears pierced when I was 18. Then got the cartilege pierced and of course it got infected.
I was going to get my belly button pierced but then thought twice. Just not for me.
Personally, I don't like tounge piercings. They just look weird to me.

Piercings are fun! I have triple piercings in my ears, my tongue, and my belly button pierced. I think tattoos are fun also but they cant just be taken out, they are forever. After my third one I realized that.
