There were a few that I thought were basically good if they'd stayed within their range. But, they oversang it or tried to show off a little too much. I forgot to watch last night because I was trying to get my son to study for his math mid-term.

I was rooting for the "baby" guy, but he shoulda never put his wife through all of that. (And if he'd had toned it down he might have made it).
The "STARS" (virgin) girl wasn't that good. I think her looks carried her and she'll get out in the first few HLLYWD rounds.
The bro/sis duo was too funny! They sang decent together and at least they were mostly on key compared to others.
The London chick is so typical. Her voice didn't do it for me, but whatever.
The black guy named Joshua was hysterical! He couldn't even speak! He didn't understand at all why they didn't like him and I kept picturing the stereotypical black family in the living room cheering him on: "G'on Josh! Git it boy!" That's probably the only encouragement he had because anyone on the street should have punched him out.
The lady that came out with the ginormous chest and screeching about her parents were Jamaican (chile stop embarrassing us!) was not tooooo bad, but she couldn't stick to a key. She might have chosen a simpler song or could have greatly used the service a pitch pipe.
I agree with the earlier comments-STOP TRYING TO SING LIKE YOU'RE ALREADY FAMOUS! They really just want to judge you by your voice in it's purest form. They had a girl on a local entertainment show that didn't make it in Miami and she worked in a bank so they showed her singing as she dispensed cash to her customers-it was so annoying! She sang fine, but you could tell that because she was trying to throw so much in there that's why they turned her down.
This show is too funny! Did they get to Miami already? I want to see if there's anybody I know on!
ETA: I'm waiting for the "We're Brothers Forever" single to be released. I'd totally buy that. But nothing else from him. Poor Renaldo!

^^^^I can't remember the air force chick but I do remember the guy who just had the baby. If he wasn't doing the Beyonce vibrato so much he would have been alright...I was kind of hoping he would do well because he seemed really nice...
LOL...what about the guy who came on like almost right after "tight-n-bright" who was arguing with Simon about how he could sing and told them that the show was rigged and what not...I was laughing so hard watching him sing...

I thought the air force woman was far better than the girl who had the abstinence speech but they said she was too Cabaret and not a pop singer. I really liked her.
