I don't have a car at the moment, but I used to have a 1987 Buick Century station wagon....go ahead and laugh, there was this high school kid, then college kid driving around in this huge powder blue car. When I had the Kappa Sig bumper sticker on it, people must have really been confused. Turns out we gave the car away to the American Lung Association, and got more from the tax write-off than we would have if we had sold it.
I got in a really bad accident senior year of high school, and a sort of bad one freshman year of college (neither of which were my fault), so the car had a back passenger side door that didn't open, a piece of plastic with black tape where the window was supposed to be, and the front end of the car was partly white instead of all powder blue. So, if you can possibly picture what a piece of garbage this car was...well, it's kinda funny.
One of my friends put a "Parking for Grandma" sticker on the back of the car, which I couldnt' get off...that added to how funny the car was.

This is such a cool question, I missed it before.....I have a red 2001 VW Jetta VR6, which I adore, and a 2001 silver Toyota 4Runner, which I also adore. Brent drives the truck in the crappy weather because his cars are midlife crisis cars (98 Mustang GT and a 71 Vette)
I desperately want to get a well-restored old Beetle, maybe a '72 convertible. I like the SuperBeetles. I love VWs. I love my Jetta, I always wanted one, but I think next time I am going back to something bigger, maybe a Passat 4motion.

I'm with ya!!!!! I have always wanted a 325, but I don't think I'd get a convertible unless I also had a winter car. I told Brent he can get me one for our tenth anniversary if he wants!!!!! (But now that he just got me the Jetta I doubt it....maybe my 40th b-day?)

forgot if I mentioned this before but I have a black 99 ford explorer sport and I absolutely love it. If money was no object I'd love a jaguar XK8 for the summer and a Lincoln Navigator for the winter. Tracy, sounds like you have an awesome suv. I'm jealous.

Right now I don't have a vehicle to technically call my own My old car--a 1987 Ford Tempo--died a few weeks ago. Nothing great to speak of obviously, but she was still mine and she really hadn't given me much trouble. My dad has been nice enough to let me have his '96 Mustang though until I can afford to buy a good car of my own

97 Camry CLE, but I'm going to bump up to a Maxima when I can, the V6 is just one of the best out there, and a 4 cylinder has no kick to it.

When I am at home, I drive my '98 Champagne Toyota Corolla. Notice I said at home. After putting over $5,000 worth of payments into it, my parents will not let me drive it because I cannot afford the payments and college (they paid it off).
After College I hope to have a Toyota Rav 4 or Toyota Celica.

Eirene, Toyotas are great cars. All I have ever had are VWs and Toyotas, and they are both fantastic. My first new car was my little red 1990 Celica that I got for my 18th birthday. I drove it until 1997 and performancewise it was still like new. (Note I say performancewise....I had beaten the crap out of Scarlett's poor little cute body.) I also have to speak up on behalf of the VWs, though. Scarlett is still on the road, but my very first car ever, an '85 Golf (the very first model year for that car) is also still out there. The body is just pathetic now, but I guarantee you the engine is still sweet as cream. It's gotta have close to 200K on it by now.

My parents bought me a new black Honda Civic a few months ago and I love it! It's so easy to drive and comfortable. It's also fun because there are so many add ons and things I can ad to it (ex. spoilers, etc,)
Before the civic I had a Mazda miata and I loved that too but it didn't like the cold weather much so I only drive it during the summers now. Thats the plan atleast.

I drive a 2001 red Hyundai Accent. It is not the best vehicle, I know. But being that I bought my car on my own without my parents' consent, it is all that I could afford. It is very cute though! Surprisingly, I get a lot of compliments on it. ' '

I have 2 cars. The car I drive most in the winter is my 98' dark red Land Rover Discovery, which was my first car. My boyfriend has a matching white one so it's really cute.
And the car I am driving right now is a 2000 black Saab 9-3 convertible...which has been modified with performance parts...very fun.
I must say, I am a car person to a fault. But my father collects antique Mercedes-Benz automobiles...so I guess it's genetic. And now that they are available in the US...my dad is getting a mercedes G-WAGON! with matte brush bar of course!!

I have a 2000 red Hyundai Accent. Not my favorite car because it is so small but I could afford it on my own. A lot of people like it though.
