SOOO happy! I can watch the final 3 knowing that they won't win the million! Of the final 3, I'd actually be okay with any of them winning (and I think this might be the first season I feel that way). Each of the teams left, while some have been more annoying than others, have at least grown or have done things in a way that isn't too sleazy--and I think in their own way the final 9 players are likeable.
9????

I was so happy when the birthday girl was eliminated. So sick of her telling him that she hates him. Couldn't believe how upset she was because TK and Rachel caught up with them at the immigration counter. Her pouting was obnoxious. I would hate for my family to watch the show and see me pouting because TK and Rachel were playing a fantastic game.

Yeah, I didn't want to totally say Nate and Jen because it was early and I didn't want to post spoilers for those on the West coast. Now though? Woooohooo! They are gone! How embarassed would you be to watch yourself acting like them after the fact? I couldn't take her whining anymore.

I love how much the dad has changed in the father/daughter team. I think this game changed their lives for the better. I do think they've had a significant advantage in the last couple legs because she knew the language, but their teamwork has gotten them to where they are, ultimately. I didn't like when the daughter told the woman at the ticket desk to tell other teams that there were no more seats. Win on your own merit, not by playing dirty.

I really admire the grandfather in that team. He has kept up with the young folks in a very impressive way. His grandson has showed a lot of compassion too, always checking on how grandpa is doing, "can you run?", things like that. Again, memories that the grandson will cherish when grandpa passes on.

TK and Rachel have done a great job of working together, respecting each other and not losing their cool. They even recognized that they almost really screwed up because they were losing it (at the floating gardens) and pulled it back together. They made an amazing comeback during this leg of the race.

I was glad to see Nate and Jen leave as well, though I will say that my wife thought they made up for a bit of their childishness at the very end.

Pulling for TK and Rachel now. I won't mind if Christina wins, but I still don't like her dad.

The only reason I was sorry to see them go is now the finale will be unexciting. I won't be screaming at my tv "No God! Anyone but them!!!!"

Here's an article on Nate and Jen and how TAR "almost" cost them their relationship. My favorite part of the whole thing is the 3rd reader comment under the article -- "These two are objectively horrific human beings." LOL.

Hurrah for TK & Rachel! I'm really glad they won too. Ron did grow on me a little at the end and I did love Christina (and I liked the grandpa), but TK & Rachel was the only "whole" team I could root for.

I'm always so sad when it ends, though.

I'm sad that it's over too, but I love that TK & Rachel won! I figured Christina and Ron didn't win when they were showing her being really cocky in the beginning of the show. Just a little smug about the whole going to the lounge to check out the Alaska location on the internet. I felt really bad for Nick and Don when they forgot to grab their bag of gear. For a 69 year old man to do all the things he did.. wow! Climbing that glacier? He was great!

TK & Rachel won because they kept their cool almost all the time. I think they only freaked out once, and that was the leg that they ended up losing. They seem like a good couple overall.

My sentiments exactly.

This is such a random bump, I know...

I ran in the Cherry Blossom 10 mile race in DC this morning, and part of the course doubles back on itself so for about two miles, you're on one side of the road and the people slower or faster than you are on the other side.

I was chugging along around the mile 9 marker when I looked up and saw Christina and Azaria from TAR crossing the mile 7 marker and just about fell over! This was the first season I really watched, and to see them outside of my TV was super weird.

My husband and I actually ran into them again after the race walking to the metro, so I started talking to them. Christina lives in DC and Azaria was visiting her...I got the impression they were dating. Both of them were really sweet, Azaria is really quick-witted and was cracking jokes nonstop and Christina actually seems pretty shy. They registered under fake names and nobody really seemed to recognize them, which I'm sure they enjoyed. And they shared their cashews with me, which I definitely appreciated

Co-sign. And from them being three hours behind and in last place two episodes ago to winning the $1 million, THEY DESERVED TO WIN. This is the first time in a while that a team that I liked actually won.

And they probably showed Nate and Jen how to really play the game.

That last roadblock was HARD. A lot harder than the usual last task, like "arrange the flags in the order of the countries you visited." It really tested brains and keeping cool under pressure.

I meant to say final 6 players...silly me didn't do math right (3 teams x 2 per team = 6; not 9!). Each team member is likeable separate and apart from their partner. There have been times where I have hated a team solely based on 1 member. Unlike this year where both Nate and Jen drove me nuts! Her pouting was ridiculous. And her whining about never being first. Sorry honey, it really only matters if you're first at the end! A million bucks is better than any of the prizes!

I don't get off until 8:15, so I rushed trying to get home, hoping that Nate and Jen were going home. I started cheering when Grandpa and Grandson got there and continued until the show was over.

I don't care who wins. They are all deserving of the $1 million.

I haven't posted in this thread but I have to say...

I am soooo glad that whiny chick and no back-bone boyfriend are GONE.

I really like all the teams in the final 3 and don't really have a preference, but I am kinda hoping that father/daughter win or TK and Rachel....
