I think it's pretty cool too, but I can't help but think they stole the idea for her "power" from Rainman!

It's his sister. His dad thought she was "special" (that she had powers, as well).
I think Hiro is the best thing that happened to the show. Next week is going to good.

^The 2 minute preview on NBC.com says it's a little boy that he keeps seeing.

Sure looked like a boy to me. When they first showed him I thought it was young Mohinder.

The part of the preview was cut of from my DVR. Initially I thought it was boy, but then I thought..it could just be a girl with a short hair cut. LOL..guess I was wrong.

I think that kid might be the first person the elder Dr. Mohinder met that had special powers which is why he was so focused on finding more people like him/her.

Wow...stop the presses because my DVR actually started AFTER Deal or No Deal was over and recorded ALL of next week's previews!
A few things about tonight's episode:
I'm starting to think that Sylar's after all these heroes because he wants to absorb all their powers in order to survive the destruction. He gets their powers by stealing their brains?
On the other hand, he's not as powerful as I initially thought. If enough people ganged up on him, he can be temporarily stopped. Also, he mistakenly went for Jackie first. He thought Jackie was "the one" and only knew he had the wrong one once he saw Claire mutating herself back to health.
Regarding Eden and Creepy Dad's silent sidekick...who do they really work for? Did Creepy Dad tell them to get Sylar or are they doing it on their own?
If Peter has the power to absorb, why didn't his wounds heal up when he was with Claire?
I'm glad Mohinder has the list of who's who. But I guess we'll have to wait for that until they give us the backstory.
Can't wait to find out what really happened to Jessica! I wonder if she really lived?

I've been hearing about the show, but yesterday was the first time I ever saw it becuase my bf has been muttering "Save the cheerleader. Save the world." in my ears I swear at least 30 times. It looks like a pretty cool show. I hope that have older episodes online

Good idea but how did he know about the destruction of the world in the first place? So far, only Isaac, Peter, & Hiro know about the end of the world.

I think he's under orders from them. He seems to be running the show (for now) though I wouldn't be surprised if the "mutants" overtake him & end up running things their way. Then again, Eden did once comment that he helped her learn to control & use her powers so perhaps that's what he's trying to do. He's the Professor X of the group. Teaching them to channel their powers though he knows how to do this is still a mystery.

I thought they did. All we saw were the remnants of dried blood on him. Poor Peter. He's going to probably be arrested for the cheerleaders death. I wonder if Mr. Horn-Rimmed will help him IF Claire tells him about her power & about how he has the same ability as her (or so she thinks).

I like him & his story so far. I really want to know what he's going to do with the list. I did happen to see the last name "Petrelli" on the list but I don't know if they were referring to Nathan or Peter.

I think she did b/c in the clip, we see her grave. Perhaps she was Nikki's twin sister that died but is somehow now able to communicate through Nikki when she takes over.
So we hear the bullet ring out when Jessica shot at D.L. Did she hit him or more likely, since he can absorb himself into things, the bullet just went through him & then out. I can't wait for next week but I do wish they'd show more Hiro. I want to see how his story develops with the cute waitress.

My thought on Jessica is that she was the one with the mutant powers, and however she was related to Niki (friends, family, same home town, etc) she took advantage of Niki by leaping over to her body upon death (possibly suicide)

I was kind of annonyed that they even attempted to make it climatic when Sylar and Peter were laying in a broken mess after the fall. We already knew that Sylar could survive being shot so there was no reason to believe he was dead. Peter absorbs powers and was momments before touching Claire so there was no reason to think he'd stay dead. I missed Hiro and Matt this episode.

Definitely. But it was even better to see that she'd been Sylar-ed.

But did Peter absorb any of Sylar's 'powers'?
If so, look for a jail break next week as I do not think Dad has any thought of helping anyone but his 'daughter' and himself.

I thought that all the "Heroes" would have to come together to save the cheerleader. I was somewhat disappointed with the episode.
