The first person I ever hear used that term was Notorious B.I.G. Then black folks everywhere started using it thinking it sounded like an intelligent big word. But is really NOT EVEN a word. It is a peeve of mine to hear people say that. Even worse if a supposedly educated person thinks its a word. The word is CONVERSE. Get it together folks, lol.

It's been around a long time and mostly used by folx with limited vocabularies trying sound intelligent. Then it became slang, but many people do think it is a real word.

Wow! It never seems to amaze me how people will feign wit to sneak in a sly comment. Bruh KAPPAtivating, keep on conversating . This isn't your dissertation, nor should it be treated as such. As far as small minds are concerned, smaller minds aren't capable of reading the initial post to see the purpose of this thread. I'm not here to discuss people I intended to see if this claim was common place or remotely legitimate. PERIOD! Slick @$$ half-wit comments...NOT NEEDED.

It is very much so alive. Thank you for asking. Today I actually paid for an old lady's groceries at Publix, I brought my wife flowers just because, and I complimented a co-worker on her hair (at least I think is was hers). It is alive and in it's prime. Sometimes you gotta pull out da box-cutter on dez fools and get to cutting (GC does dat).

Thanks Bruh...for a minute I thought we had turned this into Akeelah and the Bee! I didn't know if the thread was about the word or the shirts. Nice to know how people hang on to your every word

^^^I guess this statement was directed at me, so I will reply. Is there really a need to take offense to my comment? It seems as if you felt personally attacked. Please correct me if I am wrong. Futhermore, the purpose of the "comment" was to remind those who have wandered away from the initial post you spoke of to reposture their ill will and/or worthless rhetoric. Nothing more, nothing less.
Secondly, is there really a need to curse? I am a grown man, same as you-respect me. I am sure that your education affords you the vocabulary to accurately articulate your thoughts in a social forum that supports and maintains constructive candor and perspective-taking. In other words, when you speak...expect any and everything from your audience.
As far as the quote goes, if more people focused on ideas...this thread would be void. Just my thoughts...

ARTIC-U-LATE,
My reply was not focus solely toward you, as a matter fact if there was any ill thought in my reply it was focused on Bamboozled. I just used your quote (or rather the quote you quoted) to address the asinine comments being made.
As far as me cursing, @$$ is not a curse word. It's a combination of symbols that resembles the alphabetical spelling of a word that is seen as obscene by some. It's like saying heck, darn, or shucks. Now if a coy reference to an improper word is enough to ruffle the feathers of so many, so be it. Grow up. Like my niece says, "it's in the Bible.”
ARTIC-U-LATE your response was well written and your points were clear. Thanx!
