I agree the entire time I was watching this ep last night I kept saying if Barb is the winner why not just give it to the next person and then disqualify her in private. That was so wrong on how they did that last night. I can see now that season 2 is going to be off the chain

OMG, when Nikki came out in that dress she looked so nice. I too was tired of her prairie attaire

You mean aside from it being against the law? Polygamy draws to mind images and stories of child "brides" and abandoned adolescent boys. In fact, FLDS leader Warren Jeffs is on TV now as an FBI most wanted person. Also, at some point, the LDS custom changed in that a man no longer needs multiple wives to get into heaven. (BTW - Utah did have to get rid of polygamy in order to be admitted as a State.) Those who practice polygamy seem to be viewed as "hell-bound".

Here is a link to some polygamy stories. http://www.rickross.com/groups/polygamy.html#FLDS

Wanda and that whole side of the family is crazy, lol. How do you just make a habit of poisoning people? Why does it seem like they're surrounded by so many crazy folk there?
I know. Wanda reminds me of those two old ladies from Arsenic and Old Lace. I love that movie.

Not soon enough.

I can't wait for the sophomore season as well. I'm guessing it'll resume when the last season for The Sopranos (which has fallen off in its shock value, creative storylines, etc. {IMO}) airs...which will be (early) next year.

Yeah I saw he is on the most wanted list. I wonder though, for those that practice polygamy, do they legally marry one person and just call the others their wives? Is it illegal then? I'm getting this idea from a Big Love message board where someone had mentioned this.

If a polygamist is legally married (secular), he is usually married to the first wife. He is married religiously to all of his wives. However, there was this one guy I saw interviewed who would divorce (secularly) each wife to legally marry the next. They all still lived together and whatnot but the guy wanted the new woman to feel special. Sometimes these people are on compounds and they don't recognize secular law anyway so nobody is legally married to anybody. That doesn't stop them from applying for government benefits like WIC.
