GIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIRL I worked for an outsource HR company to handle Bank of America in Charlotte for 17 months -- HELL ON EARTH warmed up supersized portions!!!! The BOA employees were hella crazy and some of them ignant. My management and some coworkers -- just as bad. GC and my friends kept me sane.

To anyone considering customer service in a call center : DON'T!! Unless you want to be miserable for the rest of your life and spend 8 hrs stuck at a desk, listening to people complain about things that really don't matter!!! CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!! CALL CENTER WORK SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!

I feel you sista!!!! I work for a bank and I am an Internet Banking Rep. and you wrote my open letter for me. I was just about to post the same thing.!!!! All I can say is Just breathe and know your true calling will surface and you can leave with you chin held high!!!!

To everyone, but in particular, the people I work with:

1) Stop asking me what's wrong. If we are cool like that, I'll tell you. Otherwise, PISS OFF! If you ask me again, my response is not going to be kind.

2) Stop talking to me like I'm either 5 or ignorant. I'm neither. Speak to me in the manner that you would like to me to speak to you. Do NOT speak to me in a condescending tone because I'm not going to respond. PERIOD. If I've never done it before, then ask me questions to assess whether or not I can handle the task. DO NOT ASSUME I DON'T KNOW WHAT I'M DOING.

But if you KNOW that I've done it before and done it WELL, ASSUME IT'LL BE THAT WAY EACH AND EVERY TIME I DO IT. I'm not going to be GREAT one day and HORRIBLE the next.

If you cannot follow 1 & 2, don't be surprised when I respond to you in a unkind and barely professional manner.

I am NOT in the mood today. PERIOD. So stay in your office and the $%&^ up off my back. Why I gotta be chatty with you to be OK???? Just because I am NOT chatty does NOT mean I have a problem with you. Please check your insecurities at the door. I am not compassionate all like that. Ok, I am feeling my Sorors about the cops pulling you over hating on the Delta tag. I got a ticket twice by two cops for no damn reason. One wanted me to take my Delta tag off right then and there. Ummm, no mofo! I ain't taking this tag off. Needless to say I got my way. A Soror was a Senator in that county and I reported his arse.

After all she is your ex's best friend. And can you quit talking to your ex? I mean girl tried to break us up and you still talkin like y'all brotha and sista.

To my dad: I love you I really do. But you supposedly only stayin at my house for 2 weeks and now its a month and a half later.... you're gettin aggravating. Quit complaining about my cats, they ain't leavin. Quit leavin every light in the house on, I can't afford the power.

To my bf's ex: Look, you're engaged. Why must you still try and sleep with my man? Worry about your fiance and let me take care of my man. And the next time you tell my bf a lie about me oh they gonna be some reprocussions.

Ummmm sisterfriend, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but if your man is communicating with his ex, there is more going on than just talking. If anyone back tracks, it is for a reason. It is even a bigger red flag if his Godmother is in alliance with her. Love suppose to unconditional and uninterrupted. If he is accusing you of things that his ex is telling him about and he BELIEVES it that is a clear sign he does not trust you. You may need to let them have each other and you move on. She's not
"trying" to sleep with your man, she IS sleeping with your man.
