Sororities
1.Alpha Phi
2.Alpha Chi Omega
3.Delta Gamma

I actually heard at our founder's day today that the Phi Sig chapter at Sac State has more ladies than the DG chapter.

Fraternities (guessing by the size of their pledge classes this fall, because i really have no definite idea):
1. Sigma Chi
2. Kappa Sigma
3. Lambda Chi Alpha
Sororities (what was announced in panhellenic, may or may not be exact):
1. Zeta Tau Alpha 89
2. Chi Omega 88
3. Kappa Kappa Gamma 85
all the sororities are fairly close in numbers though because the other three are:
4. Alpha Delta Pi 83
5. Pi Beta Phi 81
6. Alpha Phi 78
and total is 75, so that's pretty good that we're all over total.

ZTA had their Kappa Gamma chapter at WVU that closed in the early 90's.

According to our national Office figures, the Pikes have 62 Brothers at West Virginia. Are the Alpha Xi Deltas still at WVU? Three of my relatives were members there.

Yep Alpha Xi Delta is around and thriving at WVU! Their fall '04 pledge class had a bunch of gorgeous, awesome girls. I reallllly wanted one girl to come to Alpha Phi, but her older sister was a senior Alpha Xi at WVU so it was kinda decided that she'd wind up there. They're doing really well on campus.

And the fact that WVU alpha phi (for one) didn't know that ADPi had been on campus means that there's been enough time elapse for any leftover resentment or other negative problems to be around.

None of my sisters have ever mentioned anything about ADPi or ZTA being on campus. They've only talked about Kappa Delta, and that was just because a lot of us younger girls asked what happened to them and because you can still see where their letters were on the house right behind ours. I think ADPi and ZTA would definitely be a good addition to the Greek community at WVU, they're both strong well-known sororities (and my cousin was an ADPi!)

Yea, I actually didn't know ADPi had been there either. I only knew because I had seen you mention it on here before. I think it's def possible to bring them back.

I know a lot of people that went to her high school because I use to date a guy that went there who is now a Pi Kappa Phi.
I'm pretty sure I used to run into her a lot at his parties. I also always run into a girl named Becky L. whenever I go to Elements. I know one of her friends, Maria, so I've talked to her a couple times.
And a girl who lived in my dorm freshman year is an APhi as well as a lot of her friends. Carly, Ashlinn, Claudia....
I also had English last year with Lindsey, Hillary and Constance (who is so gorgeous!)
I know a lot of Alpha Phi's but unfortunately it's very casually.

That's so fun! I pledged with Carly, Aislinn, Claudi, Becky, and Lindsay. Actually, Hillary is my big and Lindsay is my roommate! And Maria and Connie are awesome, too.
I only know a few DGs. Hillary, I know her last name begins with an F, but she's from Aspen, Colorado. I loooove her. I have a class this year with one named Laura, she's a sophomore and she dates Doug the SigEp. I also know Kristen and Liz (they pledged Fall 03) just through rush and class, but they're both soo nice.

Aww yea I love Hillary. I think the Liz you're talking about is my good friend Lindsey's little.
Do you have a sister named Marci? I know this one girl I had class with and I think she said she was in a sorority and I think it was Alpha Phi but I'm not sure.

Getting this thread back on topic.....
I couldn't honestly say what the biggest at my school would be. It totally varies from semester to semester. I would think that this would be the case at most schools- wouldn't it?

Probably, but at WVU the biggest is usually ALWAYS the biggest.....there isn't much difference form year to year.
