OHHH My gosh guys!! I had the most amazing time tonight!! I honestly left, called my best friend and wanted to cry because it was soo amazingly great! There were about 15 of us total, and 4 pnm's. The president of the chapter sat next to me lol, and we got to talk. The girls were wonderful!! We went out for ice cream at a local restaurant ice cream place.

Well I got a bid last night, but they needed to know right then if I accepted it, and I unfortunetly declined. If I had accepted I wouldn't have experienced other chapters, like this one tonight! Or another one that starts soon!

The group tonight, the recruitment chair said that there would be another event this week and to expect to hear from her soon. And to not be scared if we dont because she has 2 tests this week.

This was the group that I couldnt go to the event bc of scheduling conflicts, and then it got rescheduled and I was able to go ;-).

So I think someone up there () really wants me to do this!!!

Ill keep you all updated!! Just wanted to let ya know how its been going!!

Hey everyone!

Just letting you all in, I have 2 events this week (same sorority) on Tuesday and Thursday nights. I haven't heard about about the next event for the sorority I spent an event with on Saturday, but they said it could be some time because she has tests this week!

I really loved the girls on Saturday, so I cannot wait until I hear back from them! I actually ran into (not literally) one at school today, Erica, and she waved across the student union at me :-D.

So I guess I will update you tomorrow night

Do you have any news about your COB yet?

I went to an event last Friday, and that was fun. I sat with a girl that I recognized from my first time doing formal recruitment. And then saw her again the first COB event. Theres another event this week, I dont know when yet because she hasnt contacted me, and with the hurricanes keep hitting every other week its stinks to get things started!!

I hope the event this week is Thursday or Saturday afternoon, I am really busy with school and family time (we have this dinner show thing to go to on Saturday night as a family, ya fun but ya know.. lol) -- ahhh lol.

On a different note, I have a journal online, and I write ya know how much I love this one group and how much fun I am having at events and such, and even things that we discussed at events. And for two journal entries has been negative comments about what I write. I am just soo over the comments I just had to share them. They're negative about future houses being built or who made quota (ya that comment was at the beginning of sept/end of aug). I don't know what to do or say, I'm trying to be nice and I also ask the person to leave their name or something...but they never do. It's slightly irritating. I guess I just need patience..

Sorry I had to rant about that, considering the individual decided that leaving a comment today there needed to be *2* of them (same comment on different entries) to stress the importance of "its" comment...*sighh*

yeah, online journals can be all sorts of trouble they're not worth.
if it's a livejournal, I would suggest making any entries about any of this "friends only", as I have done to avoid random people who feel a need to butt into my business.

if you want to write about your thoughts in an online journal, i would STRONGLY recommend the rush stuff (other than a these girls are really nice, blah blah blah), as in your real impressions of the houses, etc. be private entries viewable only to YOU. You really don't know who's reading and you don't want it to bite you in the ass!

Ya, I havent written any thing negative except for like " I had to make a decision on taking a bid from so and so, but I really want to try out other groups before making a decision like this". Ive read around here not to say anything bad about a group when you post here, and I figured the same for an "online journal". But the comments Ive been getting from my journal are negative and its driving me nuts!! lol.

Greattt news ONCE again! :-D

I got an email from the group that I absolutely love saying that one of the sisters will contact me to hang out sometime, and it'll be scheduled before the weekend. I'm hoping I can do lunch Friday or Saturday since time permits me nothing else! lol.

I'm kinda nervous, if it is just me and a sister...what do I ask? Do you have any questions that I could ask, I know that I've ask whats they're favorite event they do, are they excited that they could be getting a house soon (since Greek Park 2 has been approved!) and such things...

Im thinking its almost the time where they make decisions on girls since we're not not doing group things but individual events with sisters...am I correct to predict such things?!

I haven't had any other group call me or anything, but I don't mind at all because I am absolutely in love with *this* group. I honestly would had NEVER said that the first time I went through formal recruitment!! I had such stereotypes and those dreaded urban legend things in my head!!
