Dear Laura,
I hate you and your baby sister. You make me sick. I am tired of you being Princess Laya (i know how to spell it but trying to give you all the phonetic) and I have to be Princess Leea.
Anonymous
LMAO LMAO LMAO
We always played Star Wars at her house. SHe would be Princess Laya and I would be Leea. Her brother Jamie would be Luke Skywalker. My brother would be Han Solo and Josh would be R2D2. I was pissed years later when I discovered there was no Princess Leea. HEFFA!!
She had the best swing set plus a tire swing. Plus her mom always served snacks til they had to go in for supper. LMAO

ROTFLMAO!!!!! OMG! ROTFLMAO!! This really tickled me. I didn't know you had white people on your street! Was this in North Randall???
More on me:
I was offered the chance to skip kindergarten, but my mother said no because I wouldn't have any friends. That is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard.
When I was in 2nd or 3rd grade, I wore a denim wrap-around skirt, and it came off on the playground while I was playing tetherball. Funny, now that I think about it, the same thing happened as an adult, but I was walking to the train. I think I posted about that before. Weird.
I wore my first pair of sandals IN YEARS my senior year (5th) of college. I stopped when I was REALLY little because my sisters would tease me about my toes and feet.
I now get a pedicure every two weeks, sometimes every month in the winter. I like my feet!
I was in the gifted program from 3rd thru 9th grades. I don't think we had it in high school (ours started at 10th grade). I forget.
I played the trombone in 6th and 7th grade.
I was on drill team 8th and 9th grade.
I was a high stepper (w/ the band) my senior year. I got a letter for it.
I was in National Junior Honor Society and Vice President of our National Honor Society.
I was not popular at all.
I am afraid of the dentist.
I've never had the chicken pox or any other childhood diseases. I'm deathly afraid of them now. Not just for health reasons, but aesthetic purposes as well.
I have my tongue pierced. I have seven different barbells for the piercing. The one I have in right now is Pink and Green.

Girl most of the people on our street were white. Every other house was a policeman, even Laura's. LOL

CTFU @ CT4!!!!!!!
I was a very quiet child
I preferred reading to pretty much any other activity- including television, playing on the computer and socializing
I actually have great social skills despite this- people like me, I just happen to like books more than I like most people
I am a HUGE flirt (REFORMED- kinda)
In high school I was head of the debate team, editor of the paper, National Merit Scholar and did all of the drama/music clubs that I could
My SAT scores were the HOTNESS and I got haaaated on for it by all the white chicks at my school
That was okay though because when I got into Yale and they got into mmmmm like, Colgate, they knew why.
[I am a member of the elite, but not an elitist! Although you might not be able to tell that from the above post, lol]
I never got to be on Special Chorus because of POLITICS- I wasn't in the artsy clique who kissed the music teacher's azz, so even though I could sing WAY BETTER than a lot of the people on it I was out.
I'm not bitter or anything though
I am TERRIBLE with jewelry- I have lost one of almost every pair of earrings that I have- I have a box full of singles in the hope that one day I will find some of them, lol.

I am learning how to hold onto it now because I'm the one who is BUYING it, lol.
Most of the things people have bought me in the pat weren't really to my taste so if I lost it I wasn't cryin. Now that I buy it though.... yeah I'mma need to hold onto the earrings- they cost me 15 bucks!

Same here. I flirt so much that I don't even realize that I flirt. It's just a part of me .
Carla, that story is TOO MUCH!! I'm still laughing at it.
Other facts about me:
I look exactly like my mother. In fact, we have identical scars on our backs.
My grandfather, uncle and I all have the same first and last initials: GH.
I was in Who's Who Among American High School Students in '96 (okay really who wasn't in this book).
I founded the Spanish Club at my high school.
I am one of the clumiest people in the world.
I have a purse addiction.
I have an aunt who is five years younger than me.

This is SOOOO me!
People are suprised when they find out that I am really an introvert.
I pretend to be an extravert in most situations
((Ideal's skirt story made me think of this)) I tied my dress sash to a pole in Elementary school and couldn't get myself undone. When everyone got finished laughing at me they got the teacher who had to cut my sash.
I got a big time spanking for telling a friend at school about my cousin's step father trying to kill her mother. The "friend" went back and told my cousin
My grandfather changed his last name before meeting my grandmother because of some Emmitt Till type trouble he and his brother got into. As a result, my last name should be Hayward
My grandmother had triplets back in the 40s. They unfortunately, died shortly after they were born.
My favorite sandwiches as a child were sugar sandwiches and butter sandwiches
I made freeze pops out of kool-aid and dixie cups and sold them for 25 cents a piece when I was about six. I was an EN TRIP A NUR!!
Legos were my favorite toy as a child
I was always the teacher when we played school because I was the smartest and the bossiest
I was painfully shy around boys and therefor rarely had a boyfriend in high school

This is so fun!
Ok, more from me...
I hate mayo.
I only like bbq sauce on Wendy's nuggets. Otherwise, I can't stand it.
I have a dimple.
I have freckles.
I've had surgery.
I'm supposed to wear glasses, but only do about 40% of the time.
My brother and I went to the same college, but not at the same time.
We were the first in our family to go to college outside of the state we lived in.
I'd never heard Black people refer to themselves as minorities until I got to college.
I never had a conversation with a white person until I got to college. (I had some white teachers and some white kids worked at the grocery store, but I never really talked to one.)

I was a published poet at age 7.
I was an uncle at 15 months old.
I have only been out of my time zone 2 times.
I love to read at the oddest times. (such as when I'm halfway unconscious in my bed)
I sometimes wonder who likes me for me.
I always seem to clean up everything on Sunday evening.
I am really shy, but you would never know it.
I sucked my thumb until I was 20.
I love to play Monopoly, Clue, board games, period.
I was the first male in my family to go to college.
I love to laugh, and laugh hard!
I have to have my way.
