In Southern New Hampshire (home) I LOVE SHorty's MExican Roadhouse.

In Central New Hampshire (at school) I love The Common Man Inn. SO GOOD (but rather expensive..)

Corky's Cafe - good food, small restaurant atmosphere

Hibachi Japan (Cuyahoga Falls) - great Japanese food cooked right in front of you. I'm sure everyone has something like this

Luigis - great Italian food especially if you are up late at night and you get hungry....they're open until 4am!

That would be a toss up between these three in Lexington, KY:

Durango's Mexican Restaurant

Bella Notte Italian Trattoria

Giuseppe's Italian Ristorante

I'm as happy as can be to eat at any of these three.

Most romantic restaurant with good food in LA, located in Topanga Canyon. AMAZING!

In Carmel:
The Rio Grill - LOVE the calamari and the dessert there!

Monterey:
Bubba Gumps - The bucket of boat trash. Has Shrimp, Lil lobster tails, and mahi mahi pieces.

The Sea Harvest - Has really good calamari also, but it tastes better at the lil trailer they have at the farmer's market.

Hula's - Really good baby back ribs, luau (sp?) pork, and the sweet potato fries are to die for!

I have a couple in DC, depending on what I'm in the mood for -
Marcel's (French/Belgian)
Zaytinya (Mediterranean)
Sushi Taro
Ray's the Steaks
Zola (for drinks, appetizers and ambiance)

There are so many fabulous restaurants in DC that I haven't tried yet though. And yeah, I consider myself an "aspiring" foodie. I just need the money to maintain this lifestyle.

New one - if you're in Martha's Vineyard, go to Beach Plum Inn and Restaurant. Excellent restaurant, service is great, just a very good place to eat overall. A new one of my favorites.

It's pricey, but well worth it.

Ok foodies- here's a question-
Cancun and Playa del Carmen have many 5 star restaurants, several of which we have in the States. There used to be an amazing steakhouse named Mr G's- service and food were unreal. My fave restaurant, until it closed b/c it was involved in money laundering. Really though.

Aside from the sketch factor- Is this a chain? Do we have them here?
