The only good thing about Valentine's Day is that this year it falls on the day that we usually have meetings, and seeing as so many of my sisters have boyfriends, the president decided to just cancel the meeting, because otherwise there would only be like 3 girls there, myself being one of them.

last year we had a sisterhood......celebrating singles awareness day, for those of us who were unattached, watching cheesy movies and eating too much food.

this year, i don't know what's going on, haven't thought that far ahead. i think a bar crawl might be in order.

I was walkin through campus Monday and there was a table set up selling gifts for V-day. One of the table girls asked me if I wanted to buy something for "your special someone"... I looked at her and said : "I don't have a special someone, thanks." I didn't mean for it to sound bitchy but, I think she took it that way. Oh, well...

This is the first Valentine's Day in the past 6 yrs that I do not have a "someone special". Actually my cousin and I are going to hang out, she is like my bestfriend right now, so we won't be alone and sad....we'll probably be drunk and happy...J/K

The chick who I was supposed to go speed dating with found a date who wanted to take her out...so I decided NOT to go and keep my dignity.

Some kid who hates V-Day too wanted to take me somewhere. I said yes, but in actuality I want to stay home and do my homework.

I did send cards to my FAMILY though. They don't hate the holiday.

So I am already feeling like an asshole for not being in a relationship. Go by the grocery store to get some allergy medicine, 'cause I'm all stopped up and feel like crap. It's chock full 'o people gettign flowers and romantic crap and stuff. Then, because I am apparently not hating tonight enough, the ex calls from a date with the new man to tell me that I was being thought of and "its ok though, I am just calling everyone and letting them know I am thinking of them on valentines day."

Go fuck yourself.

Plus, I now feel like a giant vagina for being bothered by it.

It's either two or three years in a row for me and no big deal anymore. But I'm an odd duck too. I firmly believe that if you need a special day to tell someone how you feel about them, your relationship needs more help than VDay can give you.......

Think of the money you aren't spending though, that should cheer you up.

And why is she calling people while ON A DATE??????? Doesn't say much for the date.

OMG....what an idiot! where the hell was her date when she was calling her ex? why is she calling people, much less her ex while on a date? the date must of not been that great!

Valentines Day blows...test today, big party tonight which I cant go to because I have a test at 8 am tomorrow, our intramural softball game got cancelled which was the one thing I was actually looking forward to about this week, not to mention the fact that every single one of my friends has a boyfriend/girlfriend and they all make me sick

Talk about commercial holiday... on the news this morning they had a reporter spend some time with a local florist.

Apparently they had an order for SIX THOUSAND DOLLARS WORTH OF ROSES.

WTF?

They're all going to die in a week anyway!!
