got a good chunk here. to top if off the people who plow our drive at my apartment plowed so well that my car was covered up to the bumper where you couldnt see it. needless to say after digging and calling into work 45 minutes before having to be there saying i am running late i adventually made it there 2 1/2 hours late...whyyyy cause it was hard to get it unburried with no snow shovel so luckly i got a hold of my dad who picked me up...however he got stuck at the end of their driveway, my guess is he missed the driveway and got it the ditch part cause he called a tow who got stuck too.
OKAY SO AFTER SATURDAY GO AWAY!

Um all you Southerners are friggin crazy. But I guess for you guys a white Christmas is nice. For us it's just a hassle. Especially owning a self storage facility. My brother has been truck plowing since maybe 7 or 8am this morning, and it just kept getting covered up. Plus 4 of us were out there with shovels and snow-plows. Wooohooooooo.
UMD was closed today! I only ventured out to shovel myself out. Of course, once I was done, they plowed the street and I had to shovel that mess. I am ticked with a neighbor who has left their car on the street in front of my house for like a month now, never moving, and it was out when the plow came down our street. As a result, I ended up shoveling a good 4 or 5 feet into the street because the plow couldn't get close enough to my drive way, thanks to that dang car he had to avoid. I really need a snow blower...

Really? I'm surprised they didn't tow it or give him a ticket because of the whole snow emergency law.

The powder form of the substance that comes from the cocao plant. Typically people use a razor to cut it and form it into lines on mirrors. After they are separated into lines, one inhales it through the nostrels using a rolled up Benjamin ($100 bill) or straw or small tube. This method gives the user an "orgasmic" high and greatly alters the subconscious state.

Holy $hit

My sister just called and she said it was snowing at her house.

She lives in HOUSTON (59 & Grand Parkway, specifically).

And I gotta get on the road in this stuff. Geez. I'm gonna have to move to Guatamala, cause I cant handle the cold. I thought living in San Antonio would put me far enough south to not have to deal with this nonsense. I guess its OK tho, it's supposed to be 77 by tuesday.

* Edited to add: The San Antonio Express News has a banner on their website that says: If you spot snow, snap a photo and send it to us. Only in south texas. lol

Its been two days since it snowed, and there is STILL snow on the ground here!! Thats CRAZY. Usually the snow melts away by the end of the first day.

Never in a million years would I have ever thought it would snow in south Texas. The last time it "snowed" it melted before it touched the ground. Now it is really packing itself along the sidewalks.

I'm amazed and seeing it for the first time. I like having snowball fights!!

Yeah, It snowed the entire drive to Houston. I got into Ft. Bend County and I guess the temperature had dropped a few degrees or something, but all the overpasses had frozen solid. I was driving and there were about 8 cars around and behind me. I was in the lead and stupidly doing about 80. Saw a bridge over a creek and it was solid white. I knew it was ice, but I was going 80. I took the foot off the gas, hit the ice and begin to slide sideways. I so thought it was all over for me. Thank god I learned how to drive on snow and ice growing up so I steered into the skid and crossed the bridge about the point of no return, as I was almost going sideways. I slowed the hell down after that. We all went from doing 80 to about 35. Then I began to see accident after accident. First one was in front of Katy Mills Mall and probably saw 10 accidents in a 8 mile stretch. I didnt knwo that was scarier, being on that mess or being on that mess with all the people from Houston who have never driven on it. Got to sister's house and they had an inch of snow here in Sugarland.

They got between 6 - 8 inches in Corpus. First White Christmas in 107 years. Brownsville got 1.5 inches. First measureable snowfall since 1895.
