OK Ladies, I had to jump in here! I didn't hear anyone mention Dr. Scholl Shoes! I had a pair in just about every color they had!
Did anyone give themselves breakdancers names? I was Crazy K and my sister was Special K! What about playing house with someone famous as your husband. I was married to the Fonz (Happy Days), Ronnie Devoe, and just about anyone else who my sister didn't choose first!

Caribspice,

You are talking about View Master!!! I had those, too!

Speaking of McDonald's, whatever happened to the Burger King man? And I remember when McDonald's first started selling Happy Meals!

What about favorite childhood movies? I think I know all the lines to "Annie" and I admit I recently bought the soundtrack. I liked the "Great Muppet Caper".

By the way, did anyone else have the Mickey Mouse Disco album growing up? I found it on Amazon.com and bought the cd. I really enjoyed my childhood.

Rooty Tooty --- I remember trying to "learn" the words to that commercial!!! **lol** And, speaking of big earrings, what about the Janet Jackson ("Control") phase --- Big hoops with the key on one side. I thought I was the bomb with my key earring and two-tones (AKAtude) ! And what about "The Jets" (remember the song You've Got It All Over Him) where all 50 members of the group were brothers and sisters? And then came ... Purple Rain (Poplife, have you mentioned Prince yet?) and Morris Day with "The Bird".

I don't know if it has been mentioned, but was I the only one that was in front of the TV every 2 hours on the hour to watch Michael Jackson's Thriller on MTV?
