Hi everyone! I am new to this site (literally joined moments ago), though I have been reading it off and on for a while...
I began my Theta life in Epsilon Lambda at Dickinson College

Hello - so happy to come across this board! I'm an alum from Delta Omicron at Alabama. I'm currently a doc student at UNT (Denton) trying to earn the ole PhD so I can work with Greeks forever !

Bluefish81 and ISUKiteflyer, I am also an Iowa State alum. Go Cyclones and Gamma Pi! I got interested in GC when my daughters were rushing at other universities and have loved reading the threads.

My older daughter pledged (not Theta), but decided the whole situation wasn't for her and depledged. That was probably the correct choice - she was an upper classman, not a partier, and found herself in a mostly freshmen new member group who wanted only to "go out." The difference in age and focus just didn't mesh.
The younger one is a very happy Theta!
