You should check out "Be Easy" and "Let's Get Away"
Yeah, I like "Be Easy" also, I really might have to cop his CD...I need some more 'get hype' stuff. Most everything that I have gotten in the last coupla months has been kinda smooth, easy highway music.

some of my new picks

if yall like norah jones, you should rerally check out joss stone. she is a 16 year old girl from london who can sang her azz off!! she's worked with angie stone and betty wright and vibe magazine did a write-up about her in this month's magazine. i got the cd yesterday and 9 out of 10 songs are REALLY good.

i also got marques houston and calvin richardson. mh really surprised me. that cd has only one flaw, "booty popping" with jermaine dupri. everything else is really nice. and as much as i didn't want to like c. richardson, i do. hell, it was worth the money to get his album photos!

I had a huge crush on MH when i was younger so on some level I will always continue to like him. I'm glad he's still doing his thing but I wonder where Romeo and LDB are because according to MTV Cribs, the live in the same house with Chris Stokes. So is he just putting them up for fun or are they doing something???

I'm feeling Jay-Z and Pharrell's new song.

I heard on Music Choice last night this song by Carl Thomas and LL called "She Is". It was cool. However, there wasn't a release date and it said the "CD is not available" or something.

Yup, I listened to it on mtv.com. I LOVE it!!! Then again I'm a huge Jay-Z fan so. . . But anyway I can't get over the fact that the man weighed 10 lbs. and his mom said he gave her NO PAIN!! I definitely will be buying this on Friday.

I saw it. I'm glad that Jay is realizing that he's almost 34 years old and isn't wearing throwbacks anymore. I like the idea of a fashion show. It's simply for the grown and sexy.

Talking Struck gold at the Record Exchange!!

Ooh, y'all. Didn't get what I went for, which were the Chronic CDs. They had to get them from another store, so they should be in tomorrow. But listen to what I DID get!!!!!

Not one, but TWO Guy CDs: Guy and The Future ($6)
Timbaland and Magoo, Welcome to Our World
The Best of Sade
ATCQ, The Anthology (too happy about this)

But what's even better, is I got two CDs for $2.50! Eve's first one, but it's edited. I was mad about that, but it was $2.50.

But this one right here is my FAVORITE purchase:

Kwame's incognito!!!!!!! Oh, I was OVERJOYED! The soror that went with me had never heard of him! Got to love a little old-school hip-hop.
