For those of you who are convinced of the veracity of The DaVinci Code, be wary. The gullible are easily seduced by his "facts" and storytelling. Many of his "facts" and subsequent conclusions include much conjecture and the linking of many "suppositions". I don't want to spoil any future readers enjoyment of the book by solidly debunking much of the storyline with facts that don't align with his theories, but much is not as true as he proposes.

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Tom Hanks (news) is expected to step into the scholarly shoes of Robert Langdon, the professor who unravels the mystery of the Holy Grail in the film version of Dan Brown's phenomenally successful novel "The Da Vinci Code."
Hanks has emerged as director Ron Howard and producer Brian Grazer's top choice for the lead role in the film, which Columbia Pictures hopes to begin shooting next year. And talks have begun for the actor to join the project.
I can't wait to see this movie!!! I wonder who else will be cast.
Soror Bamboozled, Tom Hanks is tall with dark hair and that's what you wanted for Langdon!

I enjoyed the movies. Noticed a few changes here and there but nothing that took away from the story. Don't know how I feel about Tom Hanks, but the other actors were very good.

I am glad you posted your review b/c the people at the Cann's film festival completely bashed the movie. Thanks for posting.

The Code
i really enjoyed this book, excellent read, if a book can get people to start talking and thinking about spiritual things then i'm all for it! i confess i'm too lazy to stand in the long lines for the movie, so i will catch it after the hype has worn off.
