I was born at Tripler Army/Navy Hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii.... and now I help bring little ones into the world at Women and Infant's Hospital in Providence, RI.

I might know why....I know in the late 70's early 80's, ST. Elizabeth and Secaucus were two of the few hosptials that offered epiderals (spp ? the big needle they stick into the back to cut off pain) and other assorted drugs.
I would have picked it!!!
