Ugh, I can't believe that I watched every episode of this show except the first, and now I'll probably be suckered into watching the second part.

I was so annoyed at last night's episode. They had to make it 2 hours long because it takes that long for Rob to spit out a sentence. Why is it that on all of these reality dating shows, the people have to have 5-second pauses between each word? Are they really that bad at remembering their lines?

I'm glad that Erin won and took the money because it serves skeevy Rob right, but I strongly suspect that the whole thing was set up so that they could do the second show. I mean, what would they have done if he picked Paige? They had to have someone that was going to choose the money win. Even if Paige ended up choosing the money, there's no way that she would be able to do the second show because she's too weak emotionally. Erin is a more convincing liar and a stronger person, even if she is obviously a moron for going after the $2 mil instead of keeping the $1 mil that she already had.

If Rob had picked Paige, I bet they would have approached Erin anyway. Or money-hungry Kelly.

Yeah, one of the biggest reasons I was shocked that Rob picked Erin over Paige is that I was sure that Erin was going to be the girl in FLOM2. I thought that for that to happen, Rob had to pick Paige. But it works out this way too, and I think that Erin might just be good enough to pull it off. I really hope so.

Anyway, as for FLOM1, bless Erin for taking the money. What kind of idiot would take the mere possibility of a continuing relationship with someone they just met over one million dollars? Oh, that's right, Paige.

Paige bothered me for some reason. You knew he was picking Erin because of a commercial they had aired in which he's telling whoever he chose that he chose her and they only showed the back of her hair and you can tell it's Erin's hair. And when Rob's talking to Paige, it was so much like a "I like you as a person" sort of speech whereas he was more saying more personal things to Erin. He kept doing that thing where his eyes bugged out, especially when Erin responds, "I'm really flattered...." Ha....

I think she should have cut Munch and kept the other guy. Munch looked like one of the teenaged vampires. Grueller, in the Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie (the movie with Kristy Swanson, not the TV show with Sarah-Michelle Geller)

Richard looks like one of my exboyfriends (although the Richard on the show is much cuter!!). I couldn't believe she cut him!!

Also, I hate how on the voice over they say Erin chose money over love - she was never in love with Rob. There might have been a little affection there - but there was never any love there.

I think in her situation, she wasn't very smitten with Rob, and under different circumstances they probably would have been on a couple of dates after the show but nothing more. I would have chose the money too. Not because I am a gold digger, but because I have school to pay off, my mom is in debt so I could help her pay that off, and I could buy my dad a 69 firebird convertable. hahaha

Anyways - I am interested in seeng how the guys act. Girls get such a bad rap for being gold diggers - but gez, guys can be just as bad now that women are starting to make much more money.

Speaking of Paradise Hotel, Tara (the new girl) was on Blind Date today. I think Chad V.'s the cutest. She got rid of all of the guys I would have gotten rid of... except I would have kept the blonde guy who sometimes wore glasses (thought he was kinda cute!)
