Okay, so not the best finale, but we've watched the show for 10yrs now, it was fine.

I think Sandy coming back and not defining exactly what was up was good. I mean that way you can think whatever you want about what'll happen in their make believe tv life next. Maybe the baby was Simon's or maybe she wanted to date Simor or maybe there was crazy problems with Martin and she just wanted a friend. Not knowing that works for me, even though I did want to know in the moment.

I hate the multiple wedding thing. So dumb, but 7th Heaven is corny, so of course they did it. I wish Mary would've actually came home instead of just talking over the phone. I think they just tried to squeeze too much into the finale as far as making things end happily ever after and closing up storylines. Either way, I've enjoyed the show all this time, and I've no real complaints with how it ended.

Here's what I thought was lame...

Lucy actually knowing that A) she was pregnant with twins (which she would know that early on) but B) the sex of them!!!!

She wasn't even showing yet! I'm no OB, but don't the sex organs start to form in SECOND TRIMESTER! Lucy was still wearing her size 2 jeans, how the heck would she know she was pregnant with boys?

Am I the only one who doesn't get this?

I SO thought that one couple would be having boys, another girls, and another a boy and a girl.

Beverly Mitchell (LUCY) was interviewed in our local paper regarding the finale and the fact that she is getting married. She said that they deliberately left the finale as a cliffhanger so that they can come back with a reunion movie.

Ok I need a source on this please!!

It's probably because all of us sentimental lunk heads tuned in to the finale, so the ratings shot up...and you know what ratings do to TV shows.

HAHA!! Now they're sucked into finding THREE sets of twins to cast (and the overzealous show biz mommies of the world rejoice), and kissing Jessica Biels @$$ for guest appearances.

Seriously though, when you have a "Goodbye Season", that's it. You're finished. Quit while you're (well, not ahead, because their ratings keep falling) not so far behind.

Wow, so they did get the season. I read about a week ago when I was trying to check out what shows that the CW picked up for sure, that they were TRYING to get 7th Heaven, but they weren't sure so they were going to wrap this season up in case they didn't, but still leave room for storylines in case they did.

CRAZINESS!!

One of the big ideas though when I read about it was to have a less expensive cast, so not all of the show's big initial stars. I dunno how that'd work, but like the article said the cast has grown to be quite expensive... wonder what will really pan out in the end.
