Thought about going to OU. But for what I wanted to do, UCO was the better fit. I'm still convinced it's the better school for undergrad degrees.

I applied to four schools, including Miami early decision. it really only came down between Miami and Wisconsin-Madison. it was a touch decision for me on where to go.

I applied to:

1. Harvard
2. Miami
3. William and Mary
4. University of Virginia
5. Butler University
6. Washington and Lee

I got in everywhere but Harvard, and of the other schools, Miami was the cheapest and the best fit for me.

If you hadn't gone to your university or college, where might you have gone? How would it have been different?

My parents were after me to attend college in the ole hometown--at the University of Houston--so then my cousin would've been at my house 24/7 talking about the glories of her DZ chapter there. However, most of my high school went XO there, so who knows?

One thing, I bet I would've gotten to know justamom!

Auburn, LSU, Ole Miss and UCLA. I might be a completely different person had I went to any of those.

I applied to 10 schools and got into all of them. They were:

Queen's
Guelph
Wilfred Laurier
Waterloo
U of T
York
Dalhousie
St. FX
UBC
Victoria

I really wanted to go to Queen's but when I went on a tour of the university I just felt like I wouldn't fit in there. It's an excellent school, but not where I was supposed to be.

Guelph was always my second choice. But If I hadn't gone to Guelph it probably would have been Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia.

A lot. The schools outside of ontario were way more.

For ontario it was the standard fee for 3 and then I think it was like $25 for each additional schools.

I applied to a lot because I was dead set against going to U of T or York. They were my back up schools.

I applied to:

Elon
UNC-Greensboro
Salem College
Meredith College

I was accepted to all but Meredith. Elon was my first choice, even though UNC-G had a better music program. Elon was much smaller and personable, and they had a brand new marching band, whereas UNC-G doesn't even have a football team. So I chose Elon

If I hadn't gone to George Mason University in Fairfax, I woulda gone to either

a) Salisbury State University in Maryland
b) East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, TN (I have family there)
c) Old Dominion University (it's right down the street)

Sometimes I wish I had gone to another school, but I might not have gone ZTA, and I love it more than anything.

I was always pretty set on going to Iowa State. I only applied to one other school (because my parents thought it was a good idea) and that was Wartburg College. I seriously considered applying at Tulane or U of Texas, but I made the right choice. I had to leave my ISU campus visit early because I got the stomach flu and got horribly sick and I still loved the place.
I really enjoyed the fact that out of my graduating class of 170 people only about 10 went to ISU and I was one of two girls. All the rest were guys and they were all engineers, so we hardly ever saw each other....Until they moved in across the street from my sorority when I was a junior. A lot of people went to Iowa or UNI

I applied to:

Florida Southern
USF
UT-Knoxville
Winthrop
Presbyterian College
Charleston Southern
Furman
FSU
UF
UCF
Western Carolina
(I think that's it...it was like 8 years ago so I can't remember, lol. Besides, there were too many!)

I got accepted to all of them...twice at UCF and UF b/c I was going to transfer, but I just decided not to. I chose Western for lots of reasons! Mostly, I really needed to get out of Florida and get away from everyone I knew in high school (not my close friends - I miss them!). Also, I wanted to live in NC, and Western was the only school in the state that offered the degree program that I wanted. I definitely would be leading a different life had I chosen to go to another one of those schools...and most likely would not be Greek, or if so, probably not an Alpha Xi.

I don't know, sometimes I wish I had chosen to stay in Florida to be w/ my friends, but I don't think I would have been as happy. I guess I'll never know!

BUMP!

I applied at A LOT of campuses:

Right out of HS:
UC Riverside- took pity on me and accepted me.
UCLA- rejected
Should of applied to USC bcause my dad went to Norte Dame but i figured if he is paying he won't pay for USC...to him that is sac religious when it comes to football......hehehe

Went for my AA degree and transfer classes first. After my Associate degree/transfer: accepted at all four.

Oklahoma State University
Univ of Arkansas
U of Utah
Clemson

I got into all of them except for the hometown favorite i was kinda of holding out for ...ucla

University of Arkansas at Fayetteville is where i went. Low tuition even for an out of state student and great Political Science dept. It is great when your advisor looks like Jeff Gordons twin brother.

Well, if I hadn't gone to Kent, I most likely would've moved back to San Diego, CA and commuted to San Diego State while living with my dad. I probably wouldn't have joined a sorority because I wouldn't have been able to afford it with tuition.

I also toyed with the idea of going to the University of Akron and living at home with my mom. I probably wouldn't have gone greek there either because my mom originally didn't want me to do ANYTHING in school except study.
