OK here goes.....And I know I am going to cause some controversy...But hey that is the titel of the thread....

1. I believe that women who make the conscious decision to become pregnant and raise a child on thier own are selfish and do not realize the overall consequence of this (selfish) act to fulfill her need to FEEL loved by someone else (ie. a child)

2. I believe that many of our brothers in Black Greek fraternities perpetuate and condone sexual disfunctional (and often criminal) behavior YET would kill a man who even thought to "run a train" on his daughter. (YEP I SAID IT)

3. I believe that parts of integration were a mistake. We integrated the wrongs things. Instead of bussing the children to the white institutions we should have bussed the teachers, the books and resources into our OWN schools etc.

4. I believe that homosexuality is a choice and not hereditary.

5. I believe Gay activists using the song "We shall overcome" and other Civil Rights remniscant slogans/songs is insulting. (and trust me I am not a homophobic...I just dont feel it is the same struggle)

6. I believe that the African American race more mentally enslaved now than we were as slaves.

"and thats all I got to say bout that there!"

I think that the American empire will fall within my lifetime(or at the latest within my childs lifetime).

I think that the American Empire is suffering from many of the things that brought down previous super powers(ie. Rome, Britain, etc.).

That's so True! I'm going through this right now with my son.

My rad views:
The world is in the turmoil that it's in because no one wants to acknowledge God and give Him all of the glory, honor, and praise.

I truly feel sorry and pray for the souls of those who don't believe in God or Heaven and Hell.

I must add a bit more fuel to this interesting fire after some recent events in my life that have reaffirmed me not agreeing with:

1. Stayin with someone you neither love nor want to be with, regardless of ANYTHING(kids, marriage)

2. Church=Close to God, please!
3. two women, together, like that, nooooo not right whatsoever(for me anyway)
4. Friends should NOT date, look at, pursue, show interest, in a friends former lover. Don't think for one minute, just cause DEDE broke up with him over 4 years ago, its okay for u to start 'seeing' him. Not cool!!!

radical?...maybe.....a few ideas

I believe...

1. EVERY white woman desires to be a black woman.
2. EVERY black man wants a white woman.
3. EVERY white man wants a black woman.

CRAZY?!?

Really Radical...make you say hmmmm thoughts....
4. EVERY non-greek member on greekchat WANTS to be greek particularly on the threads they most reply on...
5. I think once a person becomes a member of a GLO they tend to be more self conscience because they don't know who to trust as friends ( for fear that they are only being their friends because they are greek.)
6. BGLO members can be very dismissive if ...
a.)....they think you want to pledge their org.
b.).....you are not in their org.
c.)....you are not in an org.
7. light-skinned black people think they are prettier than dark-skinned black people
8. the lighter (black)skinned person you are the more the media likes you
9. dark ,plump black women will never be regarded as sexy in Hollywood
10. there is no such thing as racial equality
11. white people will NEVER accept a Black person being the boss of anything
12. (if you are a boss) white people always double check behind black peoples back with another white person
13. homeless people don't choose to be homeless; people with homes choose to keep them homeless
14.if your child is special ed inclusion or whatever-- he needs to stay in special ed not regular ed
15. every preacher cheats
16.everytime a black person moves in a white neighborhood white people move
17. all babies are not cute
18. Ben Affleck is not the sexiest man alive( still thinking about this one *devilish grin*)
19.there IS life on other planets
20.Bobby Brown is not a crack head; he is just drug challenged...(lololololol)

Sidebar: The issues expressed in this particular post is NOT the total opinion of the writer...these are just ideas (ducking axes....lol)

Re: radical?...maybe.....a few ideas

I don't think that EVERY black man wants a white woman...but an overwhelming majority would probably let a white woman &&*&&^&*^&** (no disrespect to white women unless you let black men use you to &&*&&^&*^&**)

I also don't think GLO members have any special issues with trust. Most of us didn't get into this for friends and we can seperate organizational affiliations from friendships.

Despite what the media tells us, I don't think that ALL light skinned women think they're prettier than dark skinned women. As a light skinned woman (I hate speaking from personal experience b/c I know I'm not the norm) I spend a lot of my time explaining (particularly to black men) how lighter skin doesn't equal prettier. We already have a seperation between the races...let's not perpetuate seperation within the race.

BUT, my OWN radical views...of which I take complete bigoted credit for:
--As much as I love my brother/sister regardless of race I believe there are certain boundaries that shouldn't be crossed. I am weary of blacks who ONLY date outside the race (particularly with whites) and form friendships outside the race (particularly with whites). There is something inherently troubling about this.

--As said best by a young white lady at a race forum this year, whites are inherently racist. If you're white and you say you're not, then you are---even if you marched with Martin Luther King, Jr. Ask Tim Wise (the "white man who speaks black truths") about this one. This doesn't mean that you're not NICE or that you don't TRY...but acknowledge your inherent racism so you can be more conscious of the blatant and more subtle things you say and do.

LOL...and they are used whenever someone doesn't see eye-to-eye and disagrees with you. my not liking something you do/say or disagreeing with you doesn't make me a hater...it makes me...

...an adult who disagrees with you...

(blame Mary J. Blige for the continued overusage of "hateration")

That's all for now.
I agree completely - because I grew up in a different country where this was not the rule, myself and a lot of people I know in schools over here are considered quite young - we'll all have our BSc degrees before we are truly legal.

If your child is ready to go to school - don't hold him/her back. And if he/she is above 5 and NOT ready, make sure he/she is ready first.

If children do not know what they should for their grade level, DO NOt just send them to the next grade. I have freshmen at my school that seem to be unable to spell minor ten letter words.

I also, DO NOT believe that people are born homosexual. I know of places, (home for exammple) where if you express such views - it will be forced out of you by any means necessary - it is not acceptable. But yet, so far, no one really seems to believe that they were born that way - so extreme measures have not been taken. People have gotten expelled form schools for "exprimenting" with homosexuality.

Sometimes, it does seem like the black race is cursed - I do not know if I truly believe that though.

I agree that people on welfare should be forced to use birth control. The men should be dealt with also. I do not know how though.

There is too much political correctness in the US - I can't even say stewardess without getting the evil eye.

That's it for me. (for now

AMEN!!

I also think that we are being programmed to think, act, and feel however whoever is behind the "man" wants us too.

But whats really scarey is that sometimes I think its neccesary. Some people really act like they can't think for themselves...

*******Not that I think its right...
