Granted, Jeb is running for reelection... but..

How come he, Columba, or her 2 brothers were not there in court today?

They've never appeared at any of her trial dates.

Sure, one of her aunts (Jeb's sister) was there in court, but how close are they? The aunt lives in Maryland...it's like, they went down the family tree & said, "Okay, who has a free day to go to court with Noelle?"

I do not understand this family. IMO, I think they are deserting her - it seems they gave up on her long ago.

It goes to show that politics are more important than family. People allready think that Bush uses his influence, if he actually went to court it might make him look worse. He might look compasionate to. The education problem and his niece are making it tough on him that why he is in a dead heat with a guy that he should be killing. Granted I am a democrat and wouldn't mind seeing him leaving office, I do think Jeb is a good guy and is the better of the Bush brothers.

Hey zke711.

Where was Ted Kennedy a few months ago when one of the Kennedy cousins was conficted of murder?

Where was Al Gore last month when his son was busted for DUI while speeding?

Never claimed it only happened in the Republican party.

Actually I seem to remember several instances where Gore's daughters had run-ins with the law... Something about DUI's and such... This was back when he was VP though.. Can't remember specifics.

I went to HS where several politicians kids went... I remember them being some of the most messed up kids. One of former Governor Walters' kids shot himself in our HS parking lot.

I'd imagine it's a pretty widespread phenomenon.

That was his daughter Corin who served as his campaign manager during the last election. At least none of Al Gore's kids drove off a bridge at Chapaquitic and left and innocent person to die, like Ted Kennedy.

The point isn't party lines. The point is ALL of these politicians have their priorities screwed up. They put their jobs before their children. I don't care if you are the President, the Pope, or joe blow from down the block. If your children are in trouble (and I mean the substance abuse itself, not the legal troubles that ensue), you need to HELP THEM. The only thing any one of the guys y'all mentioned did was work extra hard to do damage control with the press and make sure their kids didn't face jail time (not for the kids' sake, but because it would have tarnished their political record).

I don't just have an issue with Jeb Bush for this one. I have an issue with anyone who would put their own political agenda ahead of their children's wellbeing. Oh yeah, and the whole differential treatment of their children versus an "everyday" person guilty of the same offense. That double standard is what pisses me off the most, and ALL politicians and people in power are guilty of it, Democrat, Republican, black, white, doesn't matter.

Michael Skakel is not the Sen. Ted Kennedy's nephew, but Sen. Robert Kennedy's nephew through marriage. Michael is Ethel Kennedy's brother Rush's son.

I don't know anything about V.P. Al Gore's son.

This is where I believe the public has lots of common ground. I just have a small problem with Florida Dems using Jeb's daughter against him when they have PLENTY of their own skeletons in their closets.

It goes without question that it sure doesn't help the situation with Gov Bush's family.

More trash on Noelle...

For those following Noelle Bush's life..

High as the Sky with Noelle & Drunk as a Punk with Nayib

The governor's daughter and the Estefans' son weren't exactly model students at Gulliver, but they had some serious fun -- and so did I
