You are such a positive outgoing girl...These organizations were smart to have kept you around.I love your energy and how fast you post us at GC.I hope all our PNM's have the same attitude as you do..Good Luck and I know for sure you will end up in the right place for you.

I'm going to pass on some advice my Rho Chi gave me when I was cut heavily...In the later rounds let the sorority(s) that you are interested in know that you are happy to be there (don't go overboard), but don't tell them that they are the only ones left. They will be happy to know that you like them and it could really help your situation because they are trying to guage which girls will accept if they're put on the sorority's first bid list. Remember their goal is to get quality girls while making quota.

I'm so glad you had a good time at ADPi's philanthropy night, The Ronald McDonald House is a great charity and I've enjoyed working for them both as a collegian and an alumna.

I want to know how Kappa Delta went as well, they are such a fabulous sorority! I'm sure their event was great.
I'm really so happy you're enjoying both these houses!

Keep your head high. I know how hard it is to be cut - it wasn't more than a couple of days ago that I was rushing and getting dropped. UCF has 9 houses, and through the week at least 4 dropped me. (There might have been more, but it's hard to tell the way we match up.) It's so hard, especially when there are girls squealing with delight when they get their schedules.

I don't know about your school, but at mine KD and ADPi are really great groups, with wonderful women. Hopefully, you'll find a wonderful home with one of them.

I'm crossing my fingers for you!

BTW, Daquiris and milkshakes - wow! Here at UCF, pink lemonade is exotic!

I'm glad you had fun at ADPi. I'm glad that you were invited back to both houses. With your positive and outgoing attitude, both houses would be lucky to have you. Remember to follow your heart. And if you are too worried about it, make sure to express your interest to the house (but don't go overboard). Also make sure that the houses know what YOU could bring to the organization. As members going through rush...we have to deal with that also....does the PNM want to join our organization? Will she feel at home here? etc. Just be yourself. I'm sure you will find your home. Good luck with the next couple of days.

Hey everyone! Everything went great at the KD house yesterday! Their skit was sooooo adorable! The only not so good thing about was that conversation kind of ran dry towards the end of the time to talk. It was because we already covered just about everything there was to talk about! And i mean everything, but she was a great girl and i look forward to seeing her again! Their skit was so cute it was like a KD timeline through the years...they did like mini skits starting from the year they were first founded to 2002. Very cute! I actually went out last night and was home too late to come to the union and post. And kinda too lazy...it's a long walk and i'm a floridian so i'm not used to these hills! ugh. ANyways, i found out this morning that i was invited back to both houses for pref night tonight. I am soooo excited! I have already really made my mind up of where i want to be, but i'm not going to say just yet. Sorry girls....just don't feel right saying it just yet. Well, i will probably not get to post til like 1am tonight, but i will make sure to try and post! (I have to stay in the union until all of the houses have finished their lists for bid day) Anywasy, talk to you all soon! Muah!

I'm so glad you got invited to pref at both!
Even though you have said that you have really made up your mind where you want to be, you have to keep in mind that if you pref both, there is a good chance that you could end up in the one that your heart wasn't set on. You could rank one as your number one, but if you're not high enough on their list before they fill up their quota, you could very likely go to your number two... But i'm sure you know all this, just reminding you

just got an e-mail back from her. she's got two big prefs tonight. so it looks all good.
