I'll try to get you a pic Makeda. I'm kinda slow when it comes to getting a picture online. You know all day I've been wanting to recreate Jazz Fest (without the heat and wait but with the HOT BOYS from Loyola!!!! remember them??). Dave needs to come to this area more. I can't be like amycat and travel all over God's green earth to see him (I wish I could though!!).

Jazz Fest was something else,wasn't it? I wish I could travel all over like amycat too. I would gladly leave my current job and become a full-time traveling Dave head

haha I actually think seeing so many shows in a week or so makes it WORSE not better. I totally NEED another fix and the closest he's coming to me is George, WA in Sept--when I'll be in Charlotte NC for a wedding... or you bet I'd be in WA for the Gorge shows!!!!!!
Have 3rd date with new boy tomorrow night, I am cooking. We were talking earlier:
Chris: How was your day?
Amy: Well, the DMB disc came out today.
Chris: (laughs) so you've been listening to that for 8 hours.
Amy: Of course.
Chris: Can I hear it tomorrow?
Amy: (laughs) You think you can get in and out of here WITHOUT hearing it?
Chris: (laughs) I am betting I won't hear anything BUT that.
Amy: That's probably a good bet to make.

I don't normally do this, but you guys. I'll be in Johanesburg in August. I know Dave was born there, if any of you got the hospital where he was born, I'll take a pic and send to it through the e-mail. Damn, sound like those obsessive tiny booppers. (sp?)

okay - i just woke up, and during my dream, i went to fye and bought 3 cd's dave, better than ezra's new one (kinda old now), and the aerosmith greatest hits one.
this is bad - i'm dreaming bout buying the cd

I really am thrilled that you guys are so ecstatic that there is a new dave cd, I haven't yet got it, but I'm sure I probably will, but geez...I may not just because I'm sick of hearing about it. I don't mean any direct offense, but is the release of this album which is really just sort of the rerelease of the album that monumental in some peoples lives? Forgive my ignorance, but I have difficulty seeing the difference here between enthusiasm and obsessiveness

I think its a GOOD thing that we can all get so excited about something as simple as the release of a CD by our favorite band.
And nothing wrong with being obsessively into them either. Its healthy and fun.
