I didn't know that Ludda was talked about before... my bad. I do know that he went to college (had to in order to be a dj). Now that I have had a chance to listen to "Fatty Girl" again... I heard what I thought I heard. They used to play that song so much I would have to turn off the radio but that is another thread.

Hmmm I beg to differ. I'm not going to say you are wrong but all the lyrics sites on the internet have "so whore's keep steppin." Also, I don't think Ludacris' mom (or any member of a sorority) would appreciate any references to their sisters in this context:

Quote:
Make em undress in less then 3 seconds
So whore's keep steppin whore's keep slobbin
Sex as a weapon clothes that I slept in streets keep mobbin
I just can't see him saying "Sorors keep steppin" right there. It doesn't even fit the tone of the song. Anybody out there know for sure what is said?

Okay i found it at lyrics.com.
plus I didn't feel like listening to the CD all day long
So you are correct. But i really does sound like he says sorors keep stepping, I guess we just have "greek" on the brain

Artist:Ludacris, L.L. Cool J & Keith Murray
Song: "Fatty Girl"

F is for all the Fatties wearin my shyt!
(Do you want me to..) uh, yeah, what?
(Uhh, Trackmasters, FB, Entertainment)
Yeah, this how we gon' do this (uhh, uhh, ooh!)

[Ludacris]
Yo, girl you taste like a Cinnabun
So sweet from the thighs to the cheek
Sex on the beach, check the size of my meat; call me the butcher
Ludacris King Ding-a-Ling sheet smusher
Sweet street pusher, give me that gusher
Nasty stuff - look up - I took her
Ran out of liquor (time to re-up!)
Here comes her nigga (who gives a fu*ck!)
Rap fame and plat' thangs they can't hang
I mack dames and pack thangs and act strange
Jang-a-ling dang-a-ling oh no they can't stop
Take it to the floor back up and then drop
Effervescent.. time time's of the essence
Make 'em undress in less than three seconds
So whores keep steppin whores keep slobbin
Sex as a weapon, clothes that I slept in
Streets keep mobbin, thieves keep robbin
Get two in yoor butt, three to your noggin
Creepin and crawlin, I'm incogneg'
Can't catch the balls then you in the wrong league
Let a dog breathe, watch a pimp walk
Shut yo' ass up when you hear a pimp talk
Friskier dreams, Krispier Kremes
You lookin mighty fine in them jeans

That song is by Pharcyde, that used to be the jam my freshman year in college.

Let me tell y'all one of mine. Angie Stone's "Soul Insurance" which is track #1 on Mahogany Soul. I love the song but I really thought that she was saying "getting too heavy on your COCAINE FLOAT" when she was saying "Getting too heavy and the BOAT CAN'T FLOAT!!" -- CTHU.

Words to Home

Since I am one of those people who search the internet for everything I figured I should help you out on your search for the words Home, (I love that song too) and after quite some searching I finally found them.

Here they are:

When I think of home
I think of a resting place
A place where there’s peace, quiet, and serenity
And that’s where some of my friends have gone
Friends who have traveled with me through my wonderful experience in Oz
A journey I’ll never forget

When I think of home, I think of a place
Where’s there’s love overflowing
I wish I was home, I wish I was back there
With the things I’ve been knowing

Wind that makes the tall grass bend into leaning
Suddenly the raindrops that fall they have a meaning
Sprinklin’ the scene
Makes it all clean

(When I think of home)
Maybe there’s a chance for me to go back
Now that I have some direction
(Maybe there’s a chance I’ll get home)
It sure would be nice to be back at home
Where there’s love and affection

And just maybe I can convince time to slow up
Givin’ me enough time, ooh, in my life to grow up
Time be my friend
And let me start again

Suddenly my world’s gone and change its fate
And I still know where I’m going
I have had my mind spun ‘round in space
And watched it growing

And oh, if you’re listening, God, please don’t make it hard
To know if we should believe the things that we see
Tell us should we try and stay or should we run away (Should we run away)
Or will it be better just to let things, let them be, oh

Livin’ here in this brand new world
Might be a fantasy
But it’s taught me to love, oh, yeah
So it’s real, it’s so real, it’s real

Tell me, in the flame that that we’ve lost
Inside our hearts divine
A world full of love
Like yours, like mine

Like home
Like, like home
(When I think of home)
My friends smilin’ down on me
Givin’ me their energy, oh
(When I think of home)
I think of a peaceful world and joy
All around me, yeah
(When I think of home)
And love that we share can never
Never, ever be taken away from me, yeah, yeah, yeah
(When I think of home)
I just sit down and think
And gets on down in my bone, bone, yeah
(When I think of home)
I can hear my friends tellin’ me
Stephanie, please sing my song
I wanna sing, I wanna shout
I wanna tell you what it’s all about

I have alot of the songs from the Wiz. I think I downloaded them from Morpheus. If not, then from Audiogalaxy.
"Can you feel a brand new day!" I love that movie!

I have a good friend who is known for slaughtering songs.
I think it was Tony Toni Tone's(not sure, i was only in elementary school) song, "It Never Rains." She swore up and down that they were saying we never ran inside of California. I still get mad at her every time I think about it.
