This episode was GREAT! Puff had me ROTFLMAO!! That's what I'm talking about!!
Everyone got a huge head when they were selected. They were out and about doing shows, signing autographs, and isht! Puff put them in their place. They needed to be knocked back down to size. The only person that I was feeling was Sara. Sara has that spirit in her. Everyone else thinks that they have it all together, ESPECIALLY Dylan. He had me looking at him some kinda crazy. He was T-R-I-P-P-I-N-G!! he looks like he is going to be the downfall of the group.
I don't know ANYTHING about NY, but from the sounds and looks of it, Brooklyn is a LOOOOOOOOOOOOONG way from Manhattan (or was it Queens)? Puff was clownin' with that! But guess what? If P. Diddy, one of THE premier producers of our time, wants me to walk from New Orleans East to Mid-City just to prove my hunger, I would be lacing up my G-Nikes RIGHT NOW!
Fredrick was the ringleader bucking it all up, but I see he strapped up his boots and walked.... Like DJ Jubilee says, "Get in line, **!"

Tonight' show was good, although I didn't like the so-called "hazing" aspect that it had. I agree that everyone came back with a big head. They expected to go right back to the nice house but Puff was NOT hearing that. That's right y'all staying at Best Western. It was kind of messed up that ALL 6 of them had to stay in one room with two twin sized beds. I would have just slept on the floor, but by the looks of it there was no room there either.
Puff also had me DYING when he put Dylan in his place. I don't know why they were complaining in the first place, did they realize how much time they wasted by not wanting to go? By the time everything was said and done it was 4 in the morning.
This season is going to be so full of drama. They already started off on the wrong foot.

I dont know anything about NY but couldn't they have caught the subway to Brooklyn, and 1SD, you're right, if they'd stopped complaining and just gone ahead did the darn thing it wouldn't have been big deal! They all had big heads!!! Especially Frederick, Dylan, and Babs. C'mon, ya'll got picked but there's still alot of work to do!! This season is going to be good and drama filled I can tell already.

Trust me, the distance from Times Square to Brooklyn is very far. A normal person wouldn't dare take that walk unless they had no other way of getting to BK. I was laughing b/c Puffy told them to walk to Junior's, but he didn't say anything about how they should get back to the office. They could've taken the train back - there are more than enough trains at downtown BK (I grew up a few blocks away from Junior's) that they could've taken back into the city. Babs grew up in BK, HC she couldn't tell them what train to take back?
WTH was up with Dylan not wanting to do any of the exercises, or much of anything else? After Puffy did everything in his power to keep him out of jail, he should've been the first one to want to do anything. I didn't quite agree with Puffy blasting Dylan out in the street in front of non-Bad Boy members, but I understood where he was coming from.
My response to Babs who said that Ness wasn't the leader, P. Diddy was: Sweetie, P. Diddy assigned Ness as the group leader. He felt that Ness possessed enough maturity to handle the role. If you don't like it, go back home!!!! That goes for the rest of the group who feel the same way.
This season is guaranteed to be filled with DRAMA, DRAMA, DRAMA FOR YA MOMMA!!!!!

Are you living inside my head? GIRL, WHY did I say EXACT THING last night?!! It was all a game. He said to walk to Junior's and get me some cheescake, but he NEVER said walk back. He just said get back with it fresh. It was all a mind game. I would have taken that walk, but I guarantee I would have been on a bus, train, or in a cab on my way back. They were *itchin' too much for me last night. They never know. Puff could have had the cheesecake man holding the keys to the crib.
Girl, I didn't even read your whole post because I had to jump in on that on quick. Of course, I'll be posting again.
***ETA***
Girl, I was totally cool with Puff blasting Dylan out. It was on TV already and I am sure that the word had already gotten out before last season aired. Therefore, I didn't see the problem. I kind of felt shook when he was going off because I felt him SO much. They were acting BAD last night! He read them like a book!!Dylan's crazy azz should have been #1 trying to make the boss happy. Everybody was talking sht, talking about they wanted their plane tickets and everything. Do you really think that they would have done something so foolish?
I can't wait until next week to see his reaction to his cheescake being late... I taped the first episode because I didn't think I would be home. I think I need to watch it again!

Girl, I bet next week's episode will be full of pure hilarity. LOL!!!!! I can only imagine what the cheesecake looked like after they walked back to Manhattan - not entirely too fresh, ya know?? I guess P. Diddy screaming on Dylan wasn't a big deal since it was gonna be shown on national television anyway. I must say though, Puffy know how to get in someone's azz when necessary - lol.

Did you hear Babs say, "This ain't no Sorority Life"? But we saw her behind walking to BK for some cheesecake.

That's right!
I don't think that P. Diddy technically knows about a Hell Week, but I am sure that he has seen School Daze and all those other wacky depictions (i.e. Sorority/Fraternity Life) of "hazing" (used very loosely). He just put his own spin on it.
They had me tripping out when they were saying that none of the other artists had to do that. YOU'RE RIGHT!! NOBODY in that group WILL EVER compare to Biggie. No one can touch Faith or Carl Thomas. Mind you, Faith had been writing and singing back-up long before she was put on with Puff. Carl had been writing and producing. These kids are all from the gutter, so to speak. They had better get it right.

The funniest thing to me last night was right after they bought the cheescake and then Babs drops it on the ground as soon as she walks out the door. I was laughing even harder when she went back and Junior's was closed! If the man wouldn't have let her back in, how would they explain that?

I'm with you Redefined!
SO WHAT if the other artists weren't fetching cheesecake. They paid their dues for YEEAAAARS by being broke and working their asses off.
They think Faith never had to swalow her pride? Walking to BK is nothing I bet.
I was so loving Puffy's attitude this episode. They thought they were stars for some reason- no album, no music or nothin.
Ha!
I like this show better than Real World. I didn't watch it last season but they have made a fan out of me.

When Baps dropped the cheesecake I wanted to hit her!!! I was screaming, "Send her home, now!"
But I have to admit at first I was very skeptical about P.Diddy but he was not telling them anything wrong. They deserved everything he said to them.

OUT OF CONTROL!
Is this the best television show or what?!!?! I swear I am waiting on the band to say "DEAN YES DEAN" to P.Diddy! Everyone on there really thinks that they have made it in the industry now that they have gotten a lil' fame since the last show. I really hope P.Diddy checks Dylan real quick! He saved that dude from jail time and now he thinks that he can do or say anything! He claims he has all these offers from other record labels...well Dylan, put your money where your mouth is! I am glued to MTV until the end of the season so I can see what happens with S. S. M.T.B.2.

You ain't never lied!! I could not believe that Dylan was so stubborn with his workout! Who does he think he is?! As much as Diddy has helped them out....for him to do that, that's how we do it though. I can't wait for the next episode.

YOU ain't never lied Delph998!
Dylan is really rubbing me the wrong way with his attitude! Also, Babs is doing a lot of complaining too. Did y'all see how she was trippin' over staying in that hotel room with all of her bandmates? She felt like their were too many people cramped up in that small space. It also annoys me that Sara knows that they just need to do whatever they are told, yet she doesn't want to speak up! If and when they finish this process...they will learn about a little thing called "being humble". These folk goin' round here signing autographs, doing shows, making "celebrity appearances" and they don't even have a SINGLE! Everytime they are told to do something, someone has some type of issue. You should have seen me screaming at the tv last night saying "what are excuses!" Forget those shows Fraternity and Sorority Life, if you want to get a real taste of bonding, brother-/sisterhood, being humble, learning, etc......WATCH MAKING THE BAND 2!

That is soooo true, Pook! She's the only one that seems cool with everything, but she has to speak out. Maybe after the "pledging process" she'll open up!

No. Puff attended Howard but did not graduate, althoug I do believe that the school gave him an honorary degree.
Just so you guys know, there is a thread on AKA Ave. that covers both this season and last season of MTB2.

wow!
yeah puff was doing the dang thing. he has got the mind game down pat. "philly, you ain't that nice!" i was tripping.
i can't believe that they didn't see the game immediately. it is never about the cheesecake. and that pitiful little power move? what! they have no leverage! puffy doesn't need them. sara gets it, but she is so timid that they don't respect her voice and she clearly gets it! she is trying to make that money for her family. and babs is steady fronting for her peeps in brooklyn. most of them wish they could pick up some cake for puffy!
