It's not the holiday itself that sucks. It's the four weeks we get off. All of my cool friends are leaving town and I didn't get that second job. Too much idle time on my hands and idle hands are the devil's workshop.

I totally agree with you....not that I don't *love* time off from schoo but the majority of my friends live in either St. Louis or KC since I go to school in Missouri.....being in Nebraska for an entire month w/o anyone to hang out with is *not* my idea of a good time!!!!

I also hate the fact that there will be no snow this Christmas and that MW is out of town until way after New Years which means I won't talk to him/see him for forever!!!!!! Not fair.

I'm sick of trying to shop for my family, especially my uncle who is a pain in the butt and never likes anything anyway. I've never met someone who is so dissatisfied with everything. especially gifts that you think are heartfelt, that he brushes off because it's never good enough.

I'm sick of people treating my profession like it's not a profession, I have a Master's Degree and being a high school teacher is a professional job that I take pride in! Screw you people who don't think teaching is a profession, or that give me the "oh, you're a high school teacher," comment. And I'm especially tired of people thinking that it's an easy job. You be "on" at work for 7 straight hours, and don't take breaks every ten minutes to check email or chat with your co-workers! Come to my job for a day, and see what it's like before you open your damn trap!(Can you tell I need this two weeks off?)

I hate the fact that some people, no matter how hard you try to like them are just unlikable.

I'm damn sick of all the hype about buying fabulous presents, when really what it should be about is family togetherness and appreciating one another.

I'm sick of some people being so manipulative, and overly competitive women, we should be working with each other, not against.

And I'm sick of being sick of things...I want to be perenially happy with everything! I'm also sick of my cats waking me up every night at 3am, let me sleep already!

Ok, that's good for now, I feel much better.

I'm in a pissy mood. I'm sooooooooo sick I just want to curl up in a ball and die but I have to finish painting my room because my mother made me. I'm supposed to be on holiday and I have to work...speaking of work I need a real job.

Things would be so much better if I wasn't sick.

Edited to add: why is GC taking so long to load? It's not my computer because nothing else is taking so long. I don't have the patience for this right now...oh won't my cold go away!!!!

Four people basically, at school. I just want to line them up and slap them. The biggest problem is I feel it will be a bad move to assert myself. Not because I don't want any conflict or drama, it's that I don't want to burn any bridges with the good people who are FRIENDS with the bad ones. This shhhh has been going on for years.

I'm just really pissed off at my company right now
My supervisors informed us on Friday that they have to reduce the department by 7
It's nothing personal,but the client needs ways to reduce cost.
So Monday I get to turn in an updated resume and an internal transfer form.
I have only been in this new department about 2 months due to an internal transfer because my old department needed to "reduce cost"

Monday I also get to see if this new contract will keep me at my same pay rate.
My company pays me less then dirt as it is
I don't want to go to this new contract, but I havve no choice.
The client wants headcount reduction done by Jan 1st.
And what a cowinky-dink, the new contract's traning class starts 12/30.
I so need a new job at a new company

I *love* how my one friend tells me she'd think I was a loser if I hooked up with my ex. Maybe I'd think that was a credible opinion if she hadn't hooked up with hers two weeks ago.

And maybe it's just me, but there should be at least a two month statute of limitations that has to expire before you can complain about your lack of booty. At least. Especially when talking to friends who have majorly long dry spells. You may want to ignore any incidents that occurred since the last time you were in a serious relationship, but they still count even if you'd never admit anything happened.

I'm sick of one friend in particular acting like we're in the same no lovin' boat to try to make me feel better. If we're talking about not being in relationships, fine. If I'm bitching about not having a guy just to freakin' cuddle with or something, don't pretend you don't either when you were just hooking up a little bit ago. Wait a few more months, and then we can talk. Until then, if I want to bitch, let me bitch and shut up.

I hate school and the much needed break is not long enough!!!

Guys: are stupid, stupid, stupid, and they think we are!!! STOP with the head games, we can play back and it can get nasty!!!

I wish I had won the lottery, pay off student loans and quit working, aaahhhh that would be the life!!!

I hate how my roommate thinks she is more important than the rest of us sometimes!!

The weather, could it just decide on a season please!!!

DAMMIT! My school has a policy of not posting first-year grades until every teacher has their grades in. Well, apparently some teachers couldn't be bothered to get their grades in by 10am today...so I don't find out my grades until Monday. Keep in mind we finished finals on December 13th.
