That's fantastic!!! 
I have to give a shout out to the outgoing Miss America, who is a graduate of my alma mater. She wasn't in a GLO, but she's been a great representative of our school.

Actually, the outgoing 2014 Miss America Nina Davuluri is in a GLO, she is a Sigma Kappa.

Oh, wonderful!! I didn't see that in anything I read about her. My friends from that chapter will be excited to learn that. Thanks!

Hopefully they already know! She was a keynote speaker at the Sigma Kappa convention held in Las Vegas in July.

The Prelim is causing much angst here. DH was supposed to go somewhere else to watch the Bears game, and now isn't going. I anticipate some troubles ahead.

Yes, she did. She told us that at convention. She talked about living in the house at Michigan. Pretty sure you have to re-affiliate to live in the house. Nina was our keynote speaker at our Panhellenic luncheon.

Thanks for that info. I stand corrected.
Added after I read my post about her. Had I read my own post about her, rather than relying on my memory, I would have red that she had affiliated. Duh!
