How come I stopped grading papers???
How come this one boy tried to write "The people walk on the long beach" but instead, it was written as "The people walk on the long b!tch?"
How come I did a double take?
How come I had to show it to my sister just to make sure I wasn't tripping?
How come she did a double take too?
How come I know he didn't mean to write b!tch?
How come English isn't his first language?
How come I put a big face on the line where that sentence was?
How come I don't wanna grade papers no mo'?
How come I just put the stack down after that, and said, "I'll grade these during my planning period tomorrow?"

HC I don't know what grade you teach or how long he has been in USA?
HC some of my students (9th and 11th graders) pull similar stunts to see if I read it or not?
HC I have read some interesting stuff?
HC depending on what grade he is, that was no accident?
HC I don't work too closely with our ESL population but those kids learn curse words fast?

HC this reminds me of one of my favorite paper grading stories?
HC for a prewriting exercise, 2 years ago, my 9th graders had to do a diagram on their favorite place complete with sights, sounds, tastes, etc?
HC old boy chose his bedroom?
HC he described sexual stuff with the sights, sounds, and tastes?
HC I called his mama?
HC he got in trouble?
HC he was on punishment for the rest of the school year?
HC this happened like the 2nd week of school?
HC I LMAO when he told me the next day what the punishment was?
HC the punishment ended like a week later?
HC he is an 11th grader now and we still laugh about that as well as the other incidents he and I had?
HC grading papers is truly conedy?

HC later that year I had a little boy who kept spelling vagina for virginia and it was typed no less.
HC I made him redo that paper?
HC I was sooooooo disgusted that his tutor did not look that isht over?
HC I put it in his file?

I just got back from church
it's now 9:35 and I still have to type my paper for practice 3
I'm better than this and know not to engage in petty disputes
I don't hold grudges, keep an attitude (if any was presented) or dwell in the same place for long
therefore I have moved on, why don't others
