2. Captain America was assassinated and replaced with Bucky and just returned to life with a story arc that just completed earlier this year
3. I don't know about the reaching out part because I know where I am he's still popular with a lot of people BUT...at the same time....Batman has had 2 successful movies.
Plus you know about the Thor movie that is coming right?

LOL. Yes, the article I posted is clear on that. I can't imagine the CA movie being that great (it can either be great like the Batman movie, moderate like GI Joe movie, or horrible like the Hulk movie  ) and I'm making Tommy the fall guy. I needed a fall guy.

Batman's still the best.
But the X-men are good too when they're making a horrendous movie.

They're building up an Avengers movie. No, Thor and Cap haven't been as big and out there as some of the other comic heroes, but that's changing as the Iron Man movies have done well.
GI Joe doesn't really have a place right now. I think it'll do OK with the movie series they started, but it's too associated with the cheesy classic cartoon.

The first thing I thought of when I read that was The Avengers, from the 1960's.
Of course, they already tried to make an Avengers movie, and, well... with all due credit to Uma Thurman, there is only one Mrs. Peel, and that's Diana Rigg.

One can remember a show fondly and still find it cheesy I didn't watch GIJoe, but oh man HeMan and SheRa... My Little Ponies... the list goes on.
