I just finished Enthusiasm by Polly Shulman. I was a cute read - but it seemed so FAST after the Twilight series.

I finished Son of A Witch!

I feel like I accomplished something. haha

Beneath a Marble Sky by John Shors. It is about the love story behind the building of the Taj Mahal. I really enjoyed it.

I also really liked A Thousand Splendid Suns but totally dragged myself through Wicked. Wicked was just a little too weird for my taste.

Love this thread! I am making a list!

I just finished Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man by Steve Harvey. I see why it's a best seller. This book is insightful and HILARIOUS. I laughed my way all the way through it and learned a lot in the process.

Just finished "In Defense of Food" and "The Omnivore's Dilemma." Between that and my new-found addiction to This American Life, I should probably pick up the Stuff White People Like book as well...

I'm in the middle of this book. Absolutely hilarious. I needed a good laugh. I learned some things I didn't know before.

I just finished Michael Crichton "Next", I'm normally not into sci-fi novels but this was actually a good read.

Now I'm reading Jane Green "Swapping Lives".

I just finished Dewey which is the cat version of Marley and Me. It was easy and quick but I enjoyed it because I am a cat person (and a dog person!)

Does anyone else get moody when you've just finished a really good book (especially a series)? You feel like you've gotten to know someone, and now they're gone.

Just happened to me this weekend, though thus morning, I found out there is another book coming. Not sure how I feel about that, though, since I feel like the series has come to a natural ending, and anything further will automatically jump the shark.

Liberty Defined: 50 Essential Issues That Affect Our Freedom by Ron Paul.

I'm enjoying it. Some parts have been rather thought provoking and has me rethinking my views on some issues. It's been a faster read than what I thought too.
