Please send happy job thoughts my way! I think good things are about to happen, but I don't want to go into too many details. (I'm unemployed now, btw.)

And your prayers are working! Thank you! I had the Level II today and there are no genetic markers for Downs and the baby is growing as he/she should. They measured the limbs, head, belly, checked out the heart, kidneys, etc. The baby still might have Downs, but the odds have been lowered to 1/16. We've decided not to get an amnio, because of the risks, so we won't find out the end results until birth. Andy and I have tried for so long for this baby, so we find him/her a blessing either way. Thanks again!

Lucy - consider yourself prayed for - being unemployed is the pits!
Raggedy Ann- WONDERFUL news. Praying that you and the baby are healthy.

Alright, the last job thing didn't pan out, but it's okay because it's definitely not in the field I'm looking for. I have a few more leads out there on something I'm very interested in as well as qualified for! I'm excited about this prospect in ways I haven't felt in a while!

I am in need of a little prayer and positive energy. I'll spare you the details, but I just found out I have to have a biopsy. I'm confident that it will all turn out just fine, but I still can't help but being a bit nervous.

Thanks GC

Prayers for you - may the biopsy turn up nothing at all interesting!

^^^ Ditto that!

Prayers for everyone in need.

Thank you to everyone who prayed for me about my job situation. Although I did have to go part-time, I was able to do so on my own terms with great flexibility in my schedule. I am also able to supplement part of my income with photography gigs. I am not at all bummed as I was before, the future looks bright, and the nonprofit job market in DC while very competitive is still very good.

Please keep my aunt & cousin in your prayers. They have not taken the death of my grandmother well. To make a very long story short, they for the most part have stopped "living" since the death of my grandmother last week and are highly upset with other members of the family for moving on with life. We are grieving too, but they are having trouble with the fact that whether one wants it to or not, life does go on for the living and not everyone grieves the same.

Thanks!

Thinking of you! I just lost my grandfather this weekend and I'm worried taht some of my family may get like that.

Prayer requests for it NOT to snow on Dec 24 so that my flight won't be delayed.

Prayer also for a family that I work with. Their son has a very rare tumor with only a 20% survival rate.

Prayer request is for my mom. She's not feeling well and doctors haven't figured out why. This morning was the MRI for her neck. If they don't think she's safe to fly, she'll miss her grandson's Christmas pageant.

Prayers and positive vibes for me in the dept. of school, work, and overall mood. I've hit a some rough patches lately and it's lowered my spirits.

Lots of prayers and good thoughts needed here. Forrest the basset has to have more chemo before we leave for Christmas (driving 1000 miles each way)! Hunter the kitty will be going to the kennel. He's had his last radiation treatment, but still won't eat on his own. Luckily the people who run our kennel are like family, and won't hesitate to use the feeding tube, but we're still worried.

My parents have a black lab, named baby who has cancer as well. She may not make it through the holidays, it's spread pretty fast.

This has been a EXTREMELY rough year, with cancer, job loss, and lots of other issues. So keep us in your thoughts and prayers, please. We've spent about 20,000. It's not money we had, but we got a great rate on a loan (0% for a while) but we're stretched pretty thin. Sometimes I feel like I'm going to break.

Thanks GC
Biopsy went fine! It surprisingly didn't hurt at all! I had a third Dr. tell me that she was very confident that it is not suspicious, so that's great news. I will find out the results no later than next Tuesday.

Thanks to those who kept me in your thoughts/prayers!!
