Second, I haven't put in my two cents (not like it's worth even that much), but great-googly-moogly! If RTL is being honest in this post and we don't have the BURDEN of knowing her true identity, then as far as an AI forum is concerned, I think it should be banned. At least 3 crazy people in the past month have contributed to threads becoming complete jackassery. From these posters alone, I can see why the NPC girls on GC would not only be anti-AI forum, but have every right to be anti-AI. Who wants to be connected to that psychoticness????

Ok, I'm not in any way defending ReachTheArbonne, but I do want to say that the disses on little sisters are completely uncalled for.

The NPC only issued their statements on little sisters around 20 years ago - when it appeared their existence was undermining Title IX issues. Up until then, and probably since then (albeit underground) there have been many women who were little sisters and contributed much to the fraternities they were affiliated with. Not to mention the women who were sorority members AND little sisters. I wouldn't be surprised if some of our national officers were fraternity little sisters during their collegiate time, and very proud of it.

I know many of you are too young to remember them, but please let's stop the little sister bashing that occurs here too often.

I understand and it was a bit of a cheap shot. I'm almost positive that my mother was a little sister as well as an ADPi, at the same time I'm not sure that I think little sisters really contribute anything to fraternities (or vice-versa). But that's a discussion for another thread...

Just to clarify my previous statement...I did NOT mean to bash little sisters. I was frustrated that she was using her status as a little sister to qualify the statements she has made about AI. I meant for that to be directed at her specifically and didn't mean to offend people. I should have worded that more clearly but was just so fed up with reading a lot of the nonsense she posted that I wasnt explaining myself well.

Congratulations on all of the fine ladies of Greek Organizations who decide to belittle people!

Evidently, there are ladies who have AIed and are doing quite well within their Organizations.

There are ladies who whish to join GLOs in another fashion, so let them do it.

You need to start seeing this from our perspectives.

Regarding waiting so long.. that's exactly what I thought, and why I was ready to give it all up despite having been approached and invited. However, before I threw in the towel, I did a search on the phrases, "Special Initiation, Honorary Initiation, and Alumnae Initiation" and I was lucky enough to find the AI forum. I PMed some very nice people who had been through the process, and were kind enough to share with me their stories and to introduce to me to someone in my GLO who was familiar with the process and found out where the hold up was.

I'm sorry you don't think it's appropriate. I think kindness and helping others is always appropriate.
