What is total at Delaware now? Does anyone know? Those are pretty large NM classes.

It was set at 145 before formal recruitment.

CNU's total is now 115.
I saw my g-little last night and she said that most likely all of the chapters will be taking a fall class, in the same semester Delta Gamma recruits for their founding sisters. Has that happened before? It seems weird to me.

Usually there are restrictions about cutting off COB for a period of time before colony recruitment begins. If the school isn't committed to giving that cushion I would be very concerned about their panhellenic spirit.

If all chapters are taking a fall class, they may have a structured informal rush with quota so upperclassmen don't feel DG is their only option. That makes more sense than everyone tripping over each other with cob parties.

We've never done that before, but we do have a new Greek Life Adviser. Maybe she'll have some new ideas.

Kappa Alpha Theta at Indiana posted on Twitter that they are initiating 37 new members today, meaning 100% retention from recruitment (or they replaced any members who dropped)

Pomplemousse -- Aren't most of the existing CNU chapters near the new total? If so, the fall classes may not be that large and may be composed of the friends of friends if you will. A good characteristic of current new colonies is that they attract many women who are interested in building a new group (not necessarily joining an established group). With the growth at CNU and the percentage of the current student population who are Greek, I think DG will (like ADPi) find a good pool of interested women from which to select. Would you agree?

All of the current chapters are above the new total with the addition of their spring classes. They were all around 90 before FR, and most have graduating seniors of at least 20...The pool of interested women in the fall will be big enough to allow everyone to get great girls. My concern is mostly about the timing of when they'll do fall informal and the colony colonization. I'm sure they already have it figured out though

There's discussion around establishing a two-tier total at CNU, which would render some of this moot.
