AGDee, is your daughter unable to take birth control medicine, use an IUD, or other form of birth control?

It doesn’t matter, man. The sad part about it is what they’re doing and the decisions they’re making are not going to change anything or the way the world is now or where it’s headed. Things are still going to get worse. It doesn’t matter whether you’re talking old or new.

My 30 year old daughter is considering harvesting eggs and freezing them and then getting her tubes tied because the thought of an unwanted pregnancy right now is too scary.

My son and his fiance are assessing whether they are willing to risk a pregnancy in this unstable environment, even once they get married. They cannot imagine bringing a child into this world when there's a world wide crisis happening and so much hate. The future is terrifying right now with Ukraine/Russia and the Israel/Palestine/Iran conflicts going on. I have never felt so unsafe in this world and I know I'm lucky to only have like 20 more years to deal with it all. They have most of their lives left to deal with the repercussions.

We are researching other countries where it is relatively easy to get residency visas. Right now, Spain, Portugal and New Zealand are at the top of our lists.
I don’t really think any country is safe at this point, because it’s a global problem. Everybody is in it.

This. I know “the end times” have been talked about for eons. But do you think that we’re there now? I’m asking because you already predicted that Trump would win weeks ago, and he did.

I know you asked PB, not me, but please allow my two cents:

Multiple people with religious radio programs have spoken quite often this year about The End Times BEING HERE NOW.

It remains to be heard if their comments continue along the same lines during a second Trump Administration.

Hablo espanol un poco. I can read it pretty well and understand most of it, but pulling the vocabulary out to speak it takes more effort for me. I think that would change if immersed in it.

She has an IUD now. She has had difficulty with some hormonal birth control methods because she had psuedotumor cerebri, also known as idiopathic intracranial hypertension (IIH), they believe from Norplant, while in college. She has to be careful about the hormones. Her primary concern is something like an ectopic pregnancy if she is unable to get medical care because of national bans, etc. However, she's also a result of condoms and foam together- no birth control is 100% effective.

Who do you think I am, Nostradamus? 😂

I’m jus playin’.

Seriously though, I knew he’d win for a multitude of reasons, Phroze. I don’t believe any of this happened by chance.

With your Biblical question, I don’t think we’re there, yet. But the signs are here though. If you go to your Bible and turn to the book of Timothy, go to 2 Timothy 3. We’re in the middle of that right now. That, I know. Trump is also a very small part of what’s yet to come.

Also, Jesus Himself talked about signs verifying His first coming, warning signs of His second coming back to earth, and signs that outline both general and specific elements of the end of the age.

What’s just as important, Jesus told us to keep our eyes open so that we’re not fooled by the signs indicating that the end times are near. Just keep in mind, Phroze, that as we get closer to that time, many people are going to claim to be the Messiah and claim to have the answers for a troubled world. What you just saw with this election and with whom was elected should give you a small indication of that. You can find this in your Bible you just downloaded.

Whenever I lead the retreats for singles at my church, I use road signs as an example, depending on what I’m talking about. Road signs show warnings, important information we need to know, etc. But whether offered as information or warnings, each sign we encounter along the road is designed to help us move from where we are to where we want to be. In a similar way, God has placed a number of critical signs along His highway that I call human history. Some of us think of these signs as prophecies, and we’ve been made aware of them through God’s Word, the Bible. Some of the signs we encounter in the Scriptures are informational, while many offer warnings about the road ahead — warnings that apply to both our present and our future. IMO, all of these signs are important, and none should be ignored.

You’re correct that it doesn’t matter where you go, whether you leave the country or stay in it. The world is the devil’s playground. his objective from day one has always been to cause confusion. Some of us can see the confusion, while some of us see it as a “new norm”. Like I told you before — what you do is use discernment by surrounding yourself with folks who know the truth, while distancing yourself from those who do not.

I’m not part of any feminist wave…but with the current conditions of the world, I’m very satisfied with my decision not to have children.

AGDee, I am sorry that your daughter has had side effects with hormonal BC. Thank goodness she knows to avoid that now.

@ PB. I read that verse you mentioned, and that goes without saying, but you mentioned critical signs. Have you yourself seen critical signs that you think are lining up with the last days? How often do you read the Bible? You’ve always talked about it ever since I’ve been a member on here and seem to know it and understand it well. That’s why I’m asking. I like conversations like these.

You said Trump didn’t win by chance? How so? He had the most electoral votes.

That depends on which signs you’re talking about, Phroze. Are you talking about international signs or cultural signs? I see the last days signs showing in both.

I read my Bible every night before I go to bed, and occasionally before I go to work or start the day. I understand some things, but I don’t know or understand everything, Phroze. Some things are not explained.

With Trump, it was all planned through images and propaganda. Weak, simple minded people are easily manipulated by this. That’s why the majority voted for him. The key word is “majority”. Just that word alone on who they gravitated to should tell you where we are and where we’re headed.

I’ve been talking to this chick for two days who at first she seemed real cool, and she’s foine! I met her at the grocery store. Got the digits and tonight she told me she has three kids. A 10 year old, 5 year old and a 3 year old. That turned me off, but I still like her because she’s foine. What would y’all do?

If you can't accept the entire package, do her the courtesy and move on. Simple as that.
