They would be shooting themselves in the foot, to say the least. I can not even imagine how already married women would handle it, or mothers of sons, or women who work in places that have a lot of men and women.

I wonder--are men even going to care if these particular women do that? They sound rather unpleasant. I get that some are frustrated, but this sounds bizarre.

Preach, carnation! I agree. How is Trump’s win my fault or other men’s fault? I voted for Harris. I think it’s very bizarre and on top of that, wrong on every level. All they’re doing is hurting themselves. Men aren’t going to care.

The way I see it, those women who are participating in this movement were already off or crazy before the movement was even thought of. If I was a single man, I would disengage with a woman like that long before she disengaged with me. Crazy is crazy and off is off.

PB, I was thinking about what you had said about Trump’s win. I downloaded a Bible app (You Version) it’s called. Some things I’ve been reading are talking about what you posted. Trump is creating his future vision for himself, his friends, and our country.

I don't think enough women will do it because some women don't want bodily autonomy, but I think it's the only thing that would, eventually, guarantee bodily automony. When you're afraid that your pregnancy could cause death because certain forms of healthcare (like for an ectopic pregnancy) could be unavailable to you, sex becomes pretty damn scary. My 30 year old daughter is considering harvesting eggs and freezing them and then getting her tubes tied because the thought of an unwanted pregnancy right now is too scary.

My son and his fiance are assessing whether they are willing to risk a pregnancy in this unstable environment, even once they get married. They cannot imagine bringing a child into this world when there's a world wide crisis happening and so much hate. The future is terrifying right now with Ukraine/Russia and the Israel/Palestine/Iran conflicts going on. I have never felt so unsafe in this world and I know I'm lucky to only have like 20 more years to deal with it all. They have most of their lives left to deal with the repercussions.

We are researching other countries where it is relatively easy to get residency visas. Right now, Spain, Portugal and New Zealand are at the top of our lists.
