Pomegranates have held a place in Chi Omega history for more than 100 years, but it wasn't until 2002 that the "super food" gained national awareness. Which of the following statement about pomegranates is true?

a.) the "season" for the fruit is May - August, but products are available all year
b.) consumers are interested in the fruit's high levels of vitamin B-12
c.) trials have shown pomegranate juice to be effective in reducing several heart-risk factors
d.) pomegranate martinis are only enjoyed by Chi Omegas!

Very good, Cutie Hootie.

FYI: the "season" is October - January...and they have high levels of vitamin C...and of course, many non-Chi Os enjoy the "pom tini" too!

You have a question for the group?

You are correct!! Good job, chitownxo!

To quote the new member website: "The words KNOWLEDGE, INTEGRITY, COURAGE, CULTURE and INTELLIGENCE on the frieze above the columns of the theater interpret Chi Omega's ideals and represent attributes found in the finest of mankind."
